STICK TO PLANET SMOOTHIE OR GO TO SMOOTHIE KING. And donāt go on your lunch break, you will have to decide on letting them rip you off and taking what they gave you or going to work late (20min wait to order time/30 min order correction)
Every-time I come here my food is different. Though I order the same thing. Jerk wrap and chia banana smoothie.
Today I waited 20 minutes in drive thru, my wrap only had ice cold rice, beans and unseasoned chicken, no pineapple, no sauce no lettuce or cheese or anythingā¦. And it was teeny tiny - like for a 8 year old.
my smoothie was a different color than it ever is. Usually has a pink tone this one was straight yellow. Idk it makes me feel like Iām paying for all these health boosting ingredients and they not putting them in the food. Ripping you off! Which Iāve had problems in the past with. I am a chef, I know ingredients and I know what is and whatās not in the things I eat.
Smoothie: Iām literally chewing big chunks with every sip.
The lady leading the team today at 1pm was so dismissive. And I was so freaking nice. She Literally didnāt care to hear what I wanted to say or give me an understanding only wanted to shut me up and remake the food with an attitude.
What is the point in remaking something the exact same way you just made it before instead of listening to me to understand that you are not putting all the ingredients required in there.
She cut me off while explaining my concerns just to say ā Iāll remake it. Itās gonna be remade the exact same way but Iām a remake it for you.ā
Says its new ownership, however this has been going on for over a year now. Literally every single time I come here my order is completely different than the time before.
And empathy goes so far. Please train your team on this. Customer service is all about understanding the customer.
After having an attitude, they did remake my wrap and lo and behold it does actually have pineapples lettuce Cheese, And sauce. Just like I remembered it.
The lady tries to tell me that the Chia banana boost smoothie is not pink in anyway, Even though for over two years, it has always been pink. So I go on the website and type in the smoothie and Tropical smoothie website- itās pink. So please train your people before leaving them alone to run a store and basically rip off your customers .

When I finally sat down to eat the wrap was ice cold, had no chicken in it, just wilted lettuce and sauce, and the slaw looked gross. Drove back to return it and they offered to āmake it right.ā I was pressed for time so I decided I wanted a refund. I had paid by card so the manager, after personally inspecting the wrap I had brought back, said it would take a few business days to receive my refund.
As of today, itās been over a week, and they charged my account for the food I returned. I do not foresee a refund in the immediate future, so Iām writing this in hopes that you donāt make the same mistake I made eating here.
This brings to mind the tip culture that is struggling nowadays. I never, ever tip after ordering from a fast food place and situations like this is the reason why. Too often I am finding out too late that my order is missing items or completely wrong. If I feel the need to inspect my food immediately after you hand it to me to ensure it is correct, should establishments really be āasking you some questionsā with their tablet after you place your order?
At the very least the people working there were polite, but I guess they donāt care enough to make the food right. And to the manager, if you really wanted to āmake things rightā, you shouldāve just given me the refund I asked for instead of...

You have 5 people behind the counter and a drive thru FULL of cars. Meanwhile the person taking my order couldnāt get my gift card to work..which worked the day before but whatever thatās besides the point bc computer malfunctions I get it. But while this kid couldnāt get my card to work, you have one girl watching him try to get the card to work, one girl organizing the chips, one girl taking her time getting ice. Mind you I was the ONLY customer in the store who ordered (by this time 10 min ago). My smoothie still hadnāt even been put in the blender and theyāre literally standing around nonchalant. I got there with 3 people in line and left with 8 people in line and 2 more coming in.. a lunch RUSH should be exactly that, RUSHED.
