I’ve had the most ridiculous service here lately. The other day I order an ice cream cone. I get charged for two. I tell the girl I only wanted one I ordered one. She tells me “well I already charged your card so do you want it or not”. Fine. I drove over to my dads and gave it away so I guess I’m charged and no one can do a refund for their mistake. Then tonight I go to the drive through because my kids love it and they’re hungry. It’s 6:00 I had to be somewhere at 6:15 In Huron. I sat at the speaker box for at least five minutes saying, “hello” I literally googled if they were open. That’s how long I sat there. No one came. So I pull up to the window. The girl says ya I just said hello but you were pulling up. I have never pulled around to a window in my entire life to see if somebody can take my order. I said ok can I just place my order she says no I’m already taking a new order. I said but I sat there for at least five mintier before them. She then walks away and pretends I’m not there until another girl came and took my order. They then tell me to pull up. I waited for my food for while and finally got it and was late for a 6:15 class that was two minutes away. I worked in the food industry my entire life. At that point I would’ve apologized for me sitting there for so long and would have taken my order as soon as possible. Not “oh my bad didn’t hear you pull around again in this slow moving line”. Read moreThis location is HORRIBLE!! I waited in line at drive thru for over 20 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me?! I ordered 2 blizzards THE SAME WAY and I got charged extra for the one?! How is that even possible?! I asked for a regular cheeseburger with mustard and ketchup, and 3 cheeseburgers ketchup only, and a fry. ALL 4 cheeseburgers were the same, and with pickle. What's the point of ordering what you want if they're going to make it or put it in the computer however they want?! I'm THANKFUL that I don't live in Huron and was just driving through and thought I would stop to get my family something to eat. My local DQ treats me GREAT and makes my blizzards AND food EXACTLY how I request it. They'll even let me call ahead to order. But I do give them a lot of business because they deserve it. They do a PHENOMENAL job at the Amherst DQ, so I guess I got spoiled because NO OTHER DQ comes close to their service and quality and SPEED!! Read moreFirst and foremost I do not like what they consider a large fry. Expensive for 20 pieces of fries. (Sure feels like that many.) My visit today encapsulates a drive thru experience that left me wondering how desperate fasr food companies are becoming with employment. The young man taking the order was so soft spoken it was hard to understand him. He repeated my order back exactly as I ordered it. I get out of the drive thru only to find out a simple order was not done. And there was no receipt in sight. The store was pretty dead so it wasn't due to being busy. I take the sandwich in and he gives it to the young lady telling her she needs to fix the sandwich. She puts it down and proceeds to do something else. He the reminds her to fix the sandwich. As a former fast food manager I understand mistakes happen but this was pretty absurd. His best way to fix it was handing me a free small Blizzard with a purchase card. Yeah no thanks.
