My family wanted pizza and this new and local spot popped up on Google Maps so we thought we would give it a try. It's a small pizzeria with a few tables available for dine-in but I could tell their primary customers were getting their food to-go. The lady and gentleman behind the counter (possibly the owners) were very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The food selection was nice and they have some good offerings from appetizers to deserts. We ordered 2 18" pizzas, 1 bottled soda and 4 waters. I will say I thought the $80 price tag was a wee bit high. I added a Caesar salad after the fact and paid an additional $11 w/ tax. The salad was good, but I felt like it was a salad I would have made at home with ingredients from HEB. Just lettuce, Parm, croutons and dressing. Nothing fancy but good. Would have tasted better at a $5-7 price point. We sat inside to eat and we're served our waters in red solo cups with melted ice cubes. A bit odd, but fine. Our pizzas came out and looked amazing! The meat lovers was delicious and held up pretty well with minimal flop. The supreme in the other hand had a pretty severe flop and seemed to be much more " wet" if you will with the cheese and toppings sliding off with ease while picking up a slice. Aside from the undercarriage needing more cook time to firm up, the flavors were delicious! I have no issues returning and trying more of their menu but will probably wait for more of a special occasion due to the price being a...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in it felt as though the staff was trying to push business away. As we were walking in I heard a female staff member say we only had these 2 pizzas, someone just came in and bought all our slices. I was thinking well itâs 6:30pm, wouldnât you make more?
Then, as we approached the counter to order we asked for a whole pie, wanted half pepperoni and half white. Again female working behind the counter making a pizza said we cant do that. The base would have to be all oil or all marinara. Why? Whatâs hard about putting half marinara and half oil? Why would I want pepperoni pizza with olive oil base? She even offered dollops of marinara if we chose olive oil base. That really threw us for a loop.
I was hopeful Anthonyâs would be able to satisfy our New York Style pizza craving, but the service left a lot to be desired. Ordering 2 pizzas for 2 ppl doesnât make much sense. Slices werenât an option because they only had 2 pies out and didnât appear interested in making more. I guess I will just have to continue making...
Read moreI cannot believe that in Hutto, Texas we have a family from Sicily, come here..the middle of nowhere Texas..to create food from the gods. My husband and I have been to Rome and it changed our outlook on food and life, as cheesy as that may seem. So for Hutto to be absolutely blessed to have this family give authentic Italian cuisine..is yeah, an absolute blessing. Iâm pretty sure you could close your eyes and just point and you would fail to be disappointed. Tonight we had arancini, the burrata pizza, and a focaccia sandwich. Every single bite was an explosion of flavor that hit just right. The arancini..had sauce, doesnât need it. It is literally perfect on its own. The burrata pizza..why even consider anything else? The burrata itself is the perfect amount of creamy and savory, the prosciutto balances it all out. The crust? Itâs perfection. Itâs not dense, but it can hold all the toppings. We can follow up on the focaccia sandwich, we got full and couldnât eat anymore. If you go here, you will not be disappointed. We will absolutely come...
