DoubleDave's Pizzaworks — Restaurant in Hutto

To put it simply over priced, mediocre quality of food as well as portions, long wait, lack of a sense of urgency from the staff once issues were brought to their attention. To dive into it a bit more yesterday the Hutto location was not too busy order wise. From my observation they had about 8 orders and 7 employees with two of those being drivers. I placed an online order and showed up 30 minutes after I got the email saying my meal is being worked on, which I'd like to do add of you do an on line order there is no way to know when your food will be ready other than calling. I showed up and nothing had been started. Then instead of putting a rush on it the lady making the pizza weighed out each ingredient. Are you kidding me? Between the extra time and cross contamination I was annoyed. It took them an additional 20 minutes from my time of arrival to "finish" making my meal. Then I noticed they forgot to make the second salad. 55 minutes from the time the "started working on my order" for a medium pizza with two toppings, two orders of wings (total of 16 wings) and two salads. A total of 69 minutes (1 hour 10 minutes) form the time I placed the order on a relatively slow night for a pizza joint. The quality of the food is not worth the price ($50 no to mention this was to pick it up my self with all the inconveniences for such a small amount of food). The bacon is great, the wings were mediocre because they are extremely stingy with sauce on them, do yourself a favor and buy the $0.75 side of sauce, and the salads were pretty good due to the side of chicken being generous. I could have had my pizza quicker, delivered, and same quality from Papa John's or Pizza Hut for less money. Extremely disappointing experience. Unlikely they will get a...

I worked here only one day, for one shift. Because you should try everything at least once🤣

I put in app and was called the next day for immediate hire due to short staffing, to be thrown right into the deep end of delivering, that night. Already scheduled to work at another spo :/ I got six jobs, I do get tired😏

I came in on the next day. I didn't sink, but didn't exactly float either. I kicked hard and finished my Double Dave's Dip. I ended up surpassing the $20/hour mark thanks to the awesomeness that is my community

This place SUUUUUUUCKS. I ordered my pizza at 6:59 and it said it would be delivered by 7:44. Well 8:20 comes by and I call the restaurant to check the status and the young lady who answered couldn't have been more useless. When she was checking on my order I could hear her talking to another employee and asking "does this mean it has left the restaurant yet? And the other employee says "I don't know" and she immediately hops back on the phone with me and says "were showing it is out for delivery" and I confirmed that it had already left the restaurant and she lied and said it had.

Well at 8:47 I get a text update saying my order was ready and that it was FINALLY leaving the restaurant. So this means the girl had lied to me, and the real answer was they hadn't even made my order and that when I called is when they decided to do their job.

The order finally arrived at 9pm, and the delivery driver knocked and ran, likely so he wouldn't have to get roasted by angry customers.

There is better pizza places out there, give them your hard earned money, not a place that will disrespect you...
