Golden Chick Hutto has honestly changed my life. The other day when I came home from work, my son jumped into my arms and told me he wanted a "golden chicken kids meal". Already in a good (and quite hungry) mood, I drove into the Golden Chick drive-thru. The service was amazing- I was greeted by a short lady with glasses who had a great attitude. Upon receiving the bag which included the kids meal, I jumped around in my car seat in giddiness that my son would finally show me his smile for once. I drove home as fast as I could (following traffic laws) and rushed through the door looking for my son. He was upstairs so I called him down. The smell of fresh tenders lured him downstairs anyways, so it wasn't that much of a hassle. He jumped into my arms, again, and thanked me as he dug into da bag of food. I'll never forget the look on his face when he took out the toy- that was the best part. He ran around the room with the toy (whatever it was) and I fell to my knees in excitement. I was probably having more fun watching my son play with his golden chick toy than he was playing with it, nevertheless we were both happy. We were so satisfied with our experience that we drove the week after and ordered two more (one for me this time too hehehe). Need I say more about the deliciousness of the food- An elaborately designed bag that includes fresh, breaded tenders wrapped in high-quality paper followed by a freshly made cookie paired with the finishing touch... the toy. I will be returning again, and again. Me and my son have never been happier...
Read moreI work late so most of the time by the time I get there its drive through only. I get my food and park. Normally I don't have any issues. This is the last visit I will be making to this store. The so called manager silvia is so rude. I ordered got to the window (it was opened) and silvia was yelling in Spanish at another employee very loudly. She was calling him stupid white boy you need to clean the oven and take the trash.By the boys reaction you could tell he didn't understand anything she was saying. He just shook his head yes and continued on. How can a manger talk to someone like that? Even if he didn't understand what she was saying. I got my food and parked I was watching them close the store as I ate my dinner. I saw 2 people working and 3 people on their phones standing around. And Silvia she was standing in the lobby watching TV and talking a phone call. I watched a girl take several large bags of food out to her car. By this time silvia had disappeared in the back and I was done with my food.
I should say I have seen on several occasions food being taken out and put in this same car but different employees putting It in there. (I come here alot). The staff is normally on thier phones except 1 or 2 that are cleaning. I will say one employee that is always friendly is Lonnie. He should be in charge not Silvia. She should take some management classes to learn how to talk...
Read moreI had a bad experience, but the owner was quick to resolve it! Ordered a family meal online before 9 pm to “skip the line”. Was given a 9:41 pm pickup time. Arrived at 9:30 and the drive through was the only access. Reached the window at 10:05 to be told they didn’t have enough food to complete my order. Said the might have been able to fill it at 9:40. When I told them I was in line since 9:30, and asked what alternatives were available, I was offered to come back tomorrow and get my order free (since I’d already paid for it)! Ridiculous process followed by rotten service. They need to fix this process or close online orders! Update: One week has passed and the charge on my credit card has not been refunded as indicated by the attendant at the drive through. The Franchise office has responded to this review and I have submitted my complaint as requested. I will further update my review based on the customer service from the franchise office. The owner of this Golden Chick reached out to me and sent me a refund very quickly and promised to go over the online order process and customer service with the manager. He stated they should have not been able to run out before filling the order and he’d review the process. The food is consistently good and the owner was quick to fix things so they deserve...
