Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Hutto

Very unprofessional. Worst management.

I odered a flatbread & Smoothie through Tropical Smoothie app at this location. Wrong order delivered (picture), just two drinks.

I tried call this location, they didn't respond for my 10+ calls over 25 mins. I had to visit the branch (extra effort and cost). Told the cashier the situation. She notified her manager.

A manager came out. She told me that I can't order delivery thorugh app. Which is very wrong. I explained how I ordered. She said she would go talk to general manager.

General manager NEVER came out to see me for the whole time.

The manager came back she asked what do I want. She said I can either get my food right or get full refund. She literally said "You can't do both".

I told her then I want my food, and get delivery fee refunded since I had to come all the way to pick it up.

She went back to GM. Came back and told me that delivery fee will be refunded within 2~5 business days.

AND THEN SHE TOLD ME TO TAKE THE FOOD THAT WAS MADE FOR ME 45 MINUTES AGO, and WAS SITTING ON THEIR KITCHEN.

Wow. not even attempt to make a new one for the wrong order?

I showed her the drink I had which the color was already fainting. and told her do I really have to take this food that was made long ago (Because I had to come all the way to complain about this incident because the phone was down?).

Then she told the kitchen to remake.

So the manager or General Manager NEVER apologized, or even looked sorry for making me come all the way. they had no attempt to make things right.

Only the cashier said sorry and I feel sorry for her to work under this kind...

I’ve been coming to this location for about three years and usually enjoy my experience, but my most recent online order yesterday at 6:00 PM was very disappointing. First, when I arrived to pick up my order, I was never greeted or acknowledged by anyone, which was unusual compared to past visits. On top of that, my order was wrong. I ordered my usual — the hummus veggie wrap — which has always been just vegetables. Instead, it came with chicken inside. This made the meal completely inedible for me, and it’s frustrating because this is one of the few items I consistently rely on here. After years of good experiences, it was disheartening to have such a basic mistake happen, paired with the lack of customer service. My girlfriend and I came in here because we were looking for something quick and relatively healthy. I’ve been to a number of tropical smoothies in the past and this by far the nicest. Very clean and modern. The place smelled good and had good vibes.

We ended up order 2 smoothie and a sandwich and it came out really quickly. Not only that, but Frederick, the gentleman who took our order was great. Very kind and was very keen on helping us to make decisions we would enjoy.
