I placed an order at 5:50 PM, and by 7PM, I'd already made three calls-each ringing five or six times, no one ever picked up. By 7:15PM, I decided to make my way and get my pizza. Once I got there, the guy took a few minutes looking for my order, finally found it, handed it to me... then I asked about the delivery fee. He said no refunds-but hey, have a small drink. All in all, it took an hour and thirty to get my pizzas, I paid for delivery even though I drove myself, and came up with a small drink. Once I got home, the kicker? My order was WRONG. ORDERED FROM THIS LOCATION ON 12/10/23 AND BY THE WEBSITE FOR HOME DELIVERY. THE PIZZA WAS DELIVERED BETWEEN 22/30 MINUTES AS STATED NOT LATER THAN 30 MINUTES. THEY DIDNT HAVE A GARDEN SALAD BUT THEY WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO REPLACE THE GARDEN SALAD WITH A CHICKEN CEASAR @ NO EXTRA CHARGE. I LIKE THE FACT U CAN PAY CASH AT THE DOOR WHEN THE PIZZA HAS BEEN DELIVERED. A OPTIONS WHICH ISNT REALLY AVAILABLE MUCH ANYMORE DUE TO CREDIT/DEBIT CHARGE CARDS. I commend Domino's for bucking the gig economy trend and having full time drivers (although from recent former drivers it sounds like they will be relying more on apps in the future) it does suck because their coverage is abysmal. We're relatively close by (under 3 miles) and they won't deliver. Sucks for them because with them offering 50% off for the week, we were going to use them for a Sunday event. Sometimes those old school policies don't work out in your favor.
It reminds me of the frustrations of ordering delivery back in the day before smartphones and the internet where you'd be a mile down the road and they wouldn't deliver or you'd be a block or two outside of the delivery zone... something I'm glad all, but faded...
