Grand Rising Cafe — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

Sister and me had passed by many times in Rush, thought it'd be nice to take our time make our way to work 2 hrs before time and give this place a try we got our menus, waited long time for our orders to be taken, turns out they didn't had what we wanted we had to change our mind get some else we waited a total of almost 2 hours to get our food.... First thing we got was water with ice that melted away before we got our order asked for orange juice last minute there's no orange juice food was sitting there for bit we didn't get our food hot but warm.... Eggs were cooked when asked over easy too many potatoes on the plate looked like it was mainly potatoes we order I believe it was chicken plate after that experience don't think we'll be back.. went in thinking were going to have breakfast we had brunch.... Not to mention we got there and other people behind us got served first and even left and we still didn't get the food... We waited thinking the wait was going to be...

😔 Didn’t get a chance to eat here and was really hungry after church. We arrived here around 12:30 and after the waitress took our order we drank coffee until about 1:00. At around 1:10 Jasmine, the house manager was kind enough to see that we were still waiting for our breakfast. After Jasmine made clear to the chef that our order was omelettes and not skillets, they told us later that they had ran OUT of eggs. I’m not sure what the excuse could be for a breakfast establishment to run out of eggs, but no shade here. I’m just hopeful that this resturant can do better and plan better. There are very few sit down restaurants in this neighborhood and I really want this place to...

This was my first time going since they changed owners. It was a gentleman there, he was either the owner or a manger perhaps I only assume because these older ladies enter and when they set a few moments later he walked up and greeted them. I wonder why I didn't get the same greeting as the other ladies. But hey it's an assumption, however, the food was horrible. I've been going to this place for over 20 years and for the first time I was disappointed and my order was wrong. I told the the waitress don't worry about it .. I didn't feel like waiting just to fix...
