Be careful using your credit card at this facility. 3:35 pm I entered this place and did not bring my ID that I left at my home ( I was riding with my sister) I attempted to pay with my bank issued Citibank card and was asked for ID. No problem on their end, I explained the situation. The employee working the register still had my card in her hand then quietly without speaking went to the back. The employee did not communicate where she was going, who she was going to speak to, and did not hand me back my personal bank card that has my personal information. Two minutes go by and she packs up my order (still not communicating) and I had to address her “you just walked away with my debit card in your hand you are suppose to hand that back to me and bring the manager to the front. That’s how it usually goes” she rudely says “Ma’am I know how it goes, have a blessed day ” and hands me back my card with the order. I ask to speak with the person she went to the back for and an older heavy set bald head Caucasian man comes to the front and I have to explain to him the procedures when verifying card payment without an ID as it’s not SAFE to have a random employee walk away with a customers BANK CARD. I met with a hostile and ready to go back and forth slick talking man who insists that due to the “60-70 of years they’ve been running this business” I was in quote on quote “safe hands” when I do not know the older women who walked away with my card personally. Many of times, situations treated so casually like this is how customers days,to months,or weeks later start getting UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES from an employee who walks away with a customers debit card and during that time, wrote down their card number or took a screenshot. This establishment’s concern for scammers needs to be met with the same consumer concern for employee scamming as the manager and his employee think it’s ok walking away from eye view with someone’s bank issued debit card. Attached is the copy of receipt. I will pay close attention to my bank statements and likely will have to change debit cards due to this one visit to this ghetto...
Read morePeople are always quick to call out white people for being racist so this time I'm going to call out the people at this place for being racist. I was working in the area (I work for the City of Chicago) so I decided to order a pizza from Italian Fiesta. As I was waiting for my pizza, I asked the girl behind the counter if I could use their bathroom because I noticed that there wasn't a public one available. Mind you, I'm in my hardhat and reflective vest so they should know that I'm a legitimate working man and not some crackhead or homeless person wanting to go in there and sleep or something. The girl says that she would have to go ask her manager. So she brings the manager to the counter(he sees I'm white obviously, not to mention that I'm a paying customer) and I hear him tell the girl, "tell him no, that he can't use the bathroom." What kind of sh!+ is that?! It's pretty blatant too. Why did he have to come to the counter to look and see who it Is? Shouldn't it be either yes or no for everyone the same? I could only imagine the consequences if this man had went into a white owned establishment and their manager said no he can't use the bathroom, especially if he was a paying customer. So if that's the way they want to treat me at this place, that's just fine. They will no longer have my business. And on top of that, this place is slow as molasses and if you try and call ahead to place your order, they will put you on hold and not return...
Read moreNever will I shop with them again. Terrible customer service/management. My family ordered a pizza yesterday at 7:30pm we were told 1 1/2 hour for delivery. After 2 1/2 hours later no pizza or call. My boyfriend called and they told him the order was out after 30min still no pizza. So I called myself and spoke with order taker about the order. She stated the the order was return for incorrect phone. I asked her several times how was that possible and what number did she. She keep tell it was wrong. It understood that but she didn't answer my question. After last asking the question she never answered. She tells me in very condescending voice what part I didn't understand. At that point I went ham. I asked to speak to the manager. Which wasn't any better because I explained to about the disrespect from her order taker. She tells me that she will talk to her. She also offered to remake the order but I would have to wait another 1 1/2. Then she only wanted give a $7 discount. At this point the order should have be free because the mistake was made on your end along with the disrespectful worker. Now in total I would be waiting 4 hours for a pizza. I told the manager that she can keep it. Again personally will never give them business or my money. I don't pay for disrespect ever. I would've given 0 stars but option...
