24 Hr Gyros & Subs — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

Ordered me a 2 cheese burger meal which came 2 be $6 total. I told him take the pop off bcuz i wanted to ordee a liter pop and i didnt want it. He said he couldnt it comes with the meal. I then said i dont want the pop that comes with the meal add a liter. And also bag of chips with cheese. I then thought to myself just get the free can pop instead. So i told him take the liter iff i want the liter pop and just added a can pop bcuz it was cheaper. Total came 2 be $7.75. Upon me receiving my food i said 2 Hawaiian punch drinks. He stated 1 bcuz i didnt want the free pop. I said i told you i did thats why i didn't get the liter. He the started yelling and getting hostile and took my food and handed me $6.75. I stated i gave you a $20 and .75 cent. We started arguing with each other. The only reason why i paid and extra 75 cent on top of my $7.75 was bcuz my son was with me and he wanted the food. But i will not recommend this restaurant to anybody at all. He was very disrespectful to the customer. Their is another store Jeffery sub i always shopped there b4 they opened. I will make my transition back to my regular restaurant. Also just built a new restaurant Flash Tacos. By 71st and Crandon i believe facing the lake on the right passenger side i will be trying them. Sorry but dont eat here. I was highly upset bcuz i have been going there for years and they know me as a regular customer. ...

I went to this hole in the wall, order, and pay for a gyro sandwich (which was 8 dollars with a fry and can pop). After the guy takes my money and give me my change he proceeds to preparing my food. He didn't wash his hands or even put gloves on. Needless to say I got my money back and left. Wake up black foljs! Stop letting these predators come in our neighborhoods and charge us an arm and a leg for garbage that they wouldn't eat for free. Its dark, dingy, and the grease looked like it was months old. If this was a black mans establishment it would have been condemed....

The place is not clean and the service is only as fast as one person can work, but the food we ordered was solid for the price.

I had a Jim Shoe sandwich, and it was delicious. I suppose it is tough to screw up beef, Corned beef, and gyro meat, but I was very pleased. Got two meals of food out of $13 of investment.
