JB One is filthy inside. Every surface is sticky and full of footprints when it hasn't rained in WEEKS! I give them credit because the place is actually open 24 hours with two men working. The cobwebs full of insects in the corners are the cherry on top. These are all signs this could be a gem of a hole in the wall or completely horrendous. I placed my order of a double gyro cheeseburger and zinger burger (which is just a grilled chicken breast sandwich with "special sauce") through the language barrier which took awhile. They both came with fries and a drink. Even though it was 1am a surprising amount of customers were walking in and grabbing orders (at least 4.)
Overall the food isn't good. For some reason after eating the "Zinger burger" my throat burned for hours on end as if I had acid reflux when that's not the case. The fries were oversalted (how do you even do that?!??) I don't understand why these restaurants aren't clean. Just close the front door and clean the place or hire a cleaning company so you don't have to do it yourself if you're that scared of being robbed. Most likely they're too cheap to properly clean which means the kitchen area is probably a hygiene nightmare. The prices are a bit high considering they don't even give you a lot of fries like other places (pretty much less than...
Read moreI recently moved to the area and went after my shift at work due to it being the closet place open near my apartment. (1AM) Ordered a veggie wrap/fries combo. After paying the 40% tax on a $5.99 meal, I got home prepared to enjoy my food figuring the taste would make up for the cost. Negative. First off, it was sloppily made and the fries were not fresh. I was the only one in the place. The wrap was mediocre. I’m not a vegetarian but didn’t want grease that late. If you can’t make a decent vegetable wrap, I have little faith in everything else. I don’t know who owns this space but as the area will be shifting over the next few years with gentrification, this space will need to step their ish up or prepare lose their space. Lack of customer service and mediocre food isn’t the recipe for success. Save your money and make other arrangements to eat at home or buy something before things close. JB One is not it! 1 out...
Read moreVery terrible service, i literally just left there. i purchased a gyro and lets just say i might as well ordered a gyro salad because thats mostley want it was full of. (LETTUCE) THEN THE MAN BEHIND THE COUNTER LITERALLY SAT THERE AND ARGUED ME UP AND DOWN AFTER COMING ALL THE WAY BACK FROM MY HOUSE TO BRING IN THIS SANDWICH THAT WAS TERRIBLE. He did not want to make a new sandwich, he told me he was done, he walked away several times and kept talking over me. AS A CUSTOMER I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO ARGUE WITH SOMEONE WHO'S MAKING MY FOOD. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT CLEARLY THEY HAVEN'T HAD A LESSON ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK AND SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON SUCH BAD ATTITUDE...
