My mother has been patronizing this J&J Fish since they first opened (few months ago). She bypasses a few other J&Js to buy from this one. She enjoyed her food on most occasions.
Her last order was catfish, which was not thoroughly cooked. She took a bite off two of the pieces (a bite).
Called and complained and she was told to bring food back to location. She took the food back the next day, with the receipt.
The manager told her they would not make her another order because she bit off some of the pieces of fish. She left the food behind, so I wasn't able to get a pic of how little she ate.
She was able to determine that the fish was undercooked by taste. So, YES she bit off it. If you're going to operate business in the community, stand by your product and service those that patronize your business when you've clearly made a mistake.
A small order of fish is $10, we expected to get what you pay for. We weren't looking to get something for free. We wanted the order done correctly.
Poor customer service practices happen when a business believes that the patrons have...
Read moreI will say the people that cook the chicken are always fast and the food is always hot, they are excellent, as for the female cashiers here, they are always the issue with this establishment. I received the WORST most unattentive, rude and disgusting attitude while trying to order on Monday night, I wish I knew her name but I would say please teach these cashiers what strong work ethic and how to keep their emotions Under control. These cashiers need to be trained weekly if not *daily on what true customer service is, it just makes no sense to be that nasty with customers. They need to be trained and practice it, maybe a training on greeting people, mannerism and cleanliness also~ noticed she did sneezed w/o covering her mouth , when she was packaging up my food. I would rather deal with a self checkout machine and wait for the cooks to prep it than even interact with that cashier they had the other night. Everything is good aside from...
Read moreSo I uber eats this place in a snow storm and I was pretty desperate not to go outside because it was so, so bad. This location was not far from where I ordered from so I thought it would be better. But the storm made the food delay anyway. Its late, I’m hungry for some chicken, I’m thinking it’s all over. But I call the store and tell them who I am and that if Uber fails I’ll just brave the storm. The young lady whose name starts with a D, was very polite and understanding, told me what to do concerning the order, checked everything off and even called me back when Uber found a driver! I asked if she was a manager, to with she told me no. If they could promote her, how she acted at least in that area under stress, I think was very becoming of a leader. The food was warm, fresh, and tasty. They made sure I had lemon pepper on everything like I like it. Dope experience,...
