May 4th 2023. 12:15 AM Been sitting STUCK in the drive thru over an hour and a half just to PICK UP an ubereats order!!! After 35 minutes of the line not moving and ppl honking their cars trying to get OUT the packed drive thru I went to the front and I see more than 10 pick up orders on the counter. I knock on the window to get the only two employees working attention. It’s a heavy sized elderly African American woman and a young African American guy making the orders. The slowest service I’ve ever experienced in my life. TWO HOURS for a pick up order? Insane. This woman refused to hand the ppl who decided to come to the front the ALREADY MADE food. That’s WASTING FOOD and letting it get COLD by forcing everyone, including those who aren’t even placing an order at the drive thru intercom to wait over an hour to “come to the second window” such a bright idea. The idiotic thinking of some of these fast food workers blows me everytime. It would make much more sense and increase PRODUCTIVITY to simply hand over the already made orders Ppl are coming to the drive thru line for instead of having a drive thru of over 15 cars and taking 30 minutes PER CAR and telling everyone “come to the second window” by the time your handed the order it’s COLD and inedible or CANCELED due to excessive wait times.The manager of this McDonald’s needs to teach their overnight employees how to MOVE FAST or stick to the morning shift !!! I suggest if the neighborhood wants better service hold on to those RECIEPTS and vote 1 star on the McDonald’s surveys on each receipt that’s how head corporations see how poorly one of their locations are doing DO THOSE SURVEYS over reviews. Read moreThis restaurant is bad. Been calling corporate for 3 weeks about this place and don't receive a call, email, or text back from anyone. No one cares that the overnight employees are smoking marijuana in the store, leaving cut straws from either cocaine or heroin abuse over night, nothing. See blunt shavings, blunt roaches, baggies, straws, everything. Have called corporate and asked repeatedly for a call back. It's a shame that because of the area it's in, that corporate, the managers, and the owner just don't care what goes on in the store. Won't eat here ever again, which is a shame because I'm a Uber and Lyft driver and most of us live off of fast food during the day. Can't believe I've never been contacted back about any calls I've made. Usually someone calls you or texts you working 24-48 hours. Guess McDonald's is starting to not care as much since they moved their headquarters. Either that, or no one is responding to customers anymore. Just not good business. I even included the pictures I've taken for proof of what I'm talking about. Taken one every visit, and no response at all...
Read moreToday 8/17/2022 I visited this McDonald's and I must say I don't go here often and this is why. I entered the McDonald's with my son to order breakfast at 10:30am and after waiting 15 mins we were told breakfast ends at 10:30am. Okay so we continue to wait in line and listen to a young lady with a red shirt on curse another lady out because she was homeless and they had no cashiers. To deescalate the argument I paid for the homeless lady food. I finally get my order taken and they have no Frappuccinos but do have cold coffee. The lady in red was so rude and nasty that I wonder if she put something in my cold Coffee because that was all they had. I understand that life is hard but customer service is their job. To curse at a lady because she is homeless is unthinkable. The owners of this McDonald's should shut it down. A black man was the owner and it has been here a long time but now it is the worse McDonald's on the South Side of Chicago. I wonder what they will do when the Obama Library comes. I guess they will be cussing in good form. THE WORST SERVICE AND PLACE YOU COULD EVER GET FOOD...
