Seafood Junction — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

The food is always fresh and tasty. This past Friday I ordered a number nine and 12 Hot Wings. OMG, the wing dings are super duper small, Geez! All they do is fry and apply basic hot sauce. So don't expect no fancy special sauce. To be honest, because the wings are extremely tiny, they should not be fried. Baking may be best; frying makes them too dry. I asked for Jerk seasoning and Cajun, to my dismay I did not taste much of the seasonings. Yet, I was able to enjoy the scrumptious taste of rich butter. The consumable portion of the clams were extremely tiny and some did not have any meat in them at all. Despite, the null and void flavors of seasoning, the broccoli still had its crunch, the corn was sweet and tender, and all of the seafood was cooked to perfection; far from over done. The customer service is A Okay! I really like the energy and smile of the cashier who has been employed with the company for 2 years, she is a true sport! I would definitely recommend anyone that adores seafood to try out Seafood...

One must give credit where credit is due.

The customer service for Seafood Junction was stellar. I originally placed an order for two catfish dinners via UberEats. My UE driver unfortunately delivered only a single order, so I was forced to visit the restaurant personally to address the missing meal. Almost immediately after entering the establishment, one young woman behind the counter noticed me and asked, "What's wrong?" I told her what happened, and she had the cooks remake both orders. She even threw in a free soda as a gesture of goodwill. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff!

The food on the other hand was somewhat lackluster. It is very plainly prepared (with almost no flavor), but, in what I assume was meant to compensate for that plainness, the food was BATHED in a salty blend of spices. I was genuinely concerned about my blood pressure after finishing my meal. Each meal is also absurdly priced.

I usually dont write review but I was very disappointed about my past experience with this restaurant. I called in an places my order when I arrived it seem like the restaurant was closing. But the person at the front counter told me I had to pay for my food in the old restaurant an pick it up in the new part. Once I got my food an brought it home I noticed that they no longer put the food in the aluminum pans anymore. I opened the carry out tray an the food portions were smaller than before. The taste was bland. The corn was over cooked the shrimp didnt have any season. An it was full of grease at the bottom of the tray. I was so pissed because I had just spent 40 on a number 1an a number 2. I'm pissed an this was a waste of my money. I should have went back to Fishermans Island where the food is always great. I'm truly disappointed an I will never waste another dollar...
