Taco Pros - Mexican Cocina (East 87th) — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

First time trying out the New restaurant in the neighborhood. Ordered over the phone paid $55 for meat that didn't have flavor and it didn't look like steak or beef. The presentation was nice but the food was cold. Not to mention we stay 3 minutes away from the restaurant. The chicken Quesadilla was served hot and the chicken was spicy. My daughter said she would rather have a Quesadilla from Taco Bell. Not sure if I would give this place another try but I know for sure I've tasted better. I was trying not to travel to Grand Burrito Express or Rancho Grande. But after this experience I most certainly will travel for food that taste better and will not leave me and my family hungry on days that we choose to order out. Everyone taste buds are different. But if you choose to support this vendor, I hope your experience is way better...

I ordered the chicken taco 🌮 and a shrimp 🍤 burrito 🌯. The chicken taco 🌮 was good, just a tad light on meat. But still good and refreshing. I opened the burrito 🌯 container the burrito 🌯 was a bit smaller than what I am used to, but it also cost a few dollars more. The tortilla was thin which is nice. Upon biting into the burrito there was the absence of seasoning. Not that I crave sodium but I do crave flavor. The shrimp would be categorized as small to tiny. Maybe not the best size for that grilled taste. The shrimp by the way is not breaded which is okay, but it's just naked with nothing on it. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean. It's a great place if you are short on time or want something...

I went 2 days in a row, 1st day was tasty and even portion today I felt like I was just eating onion and tortilla, before the review I called the restaurant and a young lady took the call but after sharing w her I barely had meat on my taco she must disconnected, phone went silent. Decent place not here to bash just make the portions...
