Grand Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

First time ever going to them after passing by for years. The Chinese restaurants around the area have left me with no desire what so ever to get food from them because of poor quality and bad customer service. Went there today and immediately was greeted by friendly staff. I was impressed by the selections they had on the menue. Ordered large shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp and green onions. The crab egg foo young and 2 shrimp egg rolls. When I came home and sat down to eat oh my goodness. The egg rolls were so good finally tasted exactly like a egg roll should. The shrimp fried rice was soooo fresh hot good with vegetables added. The crab egg foo young was excellent. I will be making this my go to location from now on. I have been going out in the south burbs to get Chinese and the service and food isn't that great. Also for those who are interested lottery is played here too added bonus. I read the reviews before going even though I had the food before. It did not fail. I'll come back to that in a moment. What I didn't realize is there are 2 locations. I've never been to either one so I didn't know. The GPS sent me to this location and I'm glad they did. It had the highest ratings and reviews and everyone was correct. •The food was sooooo good 👍 😋 I had the fried shrimp 🍤 combo with shrimp fried rice and it was fire 🔥 I ordered a vegetable egg roll and the reviews were correct...unfortunately, it was dry but it's ok... I ordered Shrimp egg foo young Shrimp fried rice and vegetable egg rolls. The Shrimp egg foo young was bland and had to use all 3 of the soy packets that was given to me. The eggrolls were a tad bit better but had to use 2 packets of the sweet and sour sauce I had to ASK for. The SCORCHED BURNT FLAVORLES (unless scorched was the flavor)SHRIMP FRIED RICE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! What a waste of $22! I'm taking it back tomorrow(due to them being closed when I got home).
