I live a block away from this location, yet I stopped going here awhile back because of so many reasons. I had a late shift last night so I decided to check this location out again, because an employee of mine raved about the 6 PK special. I ordered 2 6pks with extra pickles, a sack of fries and two cheese cups. To begin it took 10 minutes for them to speak to us and take the order. I understand it was late, but the tone of the person taking the order was "I hate my job". It was low, they complained they could not hear much even though my guy was the first the speak from the driver's side. We repeated ourselves like 4 times, so I repeated the entire order because it wasn't clarified they heard the sack of fries and 2 cheese cups. Upon moving forward, I did notice it was clean through the window so that's good. We waited another 3 minutes for them to collect the money, then like another 10 minutes for the food. The car in front of us was blocking us so we had to wave for them to ask the car to move to the other side for us to exit. When I got home to wind down and eat, all my food was luke warm, watery cheese sauce, and no extra pickles on any of the burgers. So I waited over 30 minutes for horrible food. I try to support my neighborhood good establishments but this just wasn't a satisfying experience. I was starving so I just ate 3 burgers and went to bed disappointed. I don't think I'll try them again any time soon, or until they get it in order. Please get it...
Read morePlace is always empty yet they still have a 30 minute time limit at tables. Fast service, but the cashier seems to be hard of hearing so they missed half of my order. 10 cheddar cheese sliders in less than 10 minutes. Even this late at night there's still flies buzzing about. The place is dead so there's no reason trash should be on the table. It looks like they don't bother wiping them down after customers leave which is basic restaurant etiquette. At least the floors weren't disgustingly sticky this time and the food was good. The 10 sliders for $8.99 is definitely a good deal! It was less than $10 ($9.96) even with tax. I saw people coming in for other things and ordering 10 sliders just because of the deal.
Update: Stopped by here once again. The food has improved a little as well as the service, but the place is still dirty. There was an empty minute maid bottle sitting on a table and a wet napkin on the floor with crumbs everywhere. I sat at a table and noticed it was sticky when I touched it. Don't know why it's so hard to just clean up, especially when this place was empty when I walked in. The drive-thru was busy, but it's not like they were getting slammed. At least the staff that has been working here...
Read moreIt's mine... it's the local White Castle and I have a love/hate relationship with this location. I usually go when I'm desperate for something and everything else is closed. I love that it is in the neighborhood and the family owned location hasn't abandoned our area like so many others. Yet, the customer service is bipolar at best. You never know if you're going to get the nice girl behind the register or the irritated manager on the squeakbox of the drive thru. Anticipate a wait no matter what time you come because they're either inundated with customers or they don't feel like moving past the velocity of slowing pouring molasses. The food is standard WC fare but again how it is prepared and presented depends on who is working that day. I've experienced some of the best sliders here all the way to calling corporate and telling them they need to retrain the cooks on how long to cook potatoes in order to make a real french fry. I eat here too often to not give them a decent rating but if this location was in a different part of town, it probably would have closed a long time ago. Unfortunately, my neighbors have learned to...
