Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

I went by the store at 103rd & King Drive yesterday about 6:30 PM. After waiting about 6-7 minutes to place my order, I was approached by the male who was on duty. There was also a female on duty.

I wanted a pint of French Vanilla ice cream and when he went to fill my order, I noticed that the container contained very little ice cream and some of it was dried up. I objected to getting dried up ice cream and the man made no effort to get a fresh container or offer a different flavor.

He walked away and started speaking into his head set.

I hesitated for a few seconds and then decided to leave the store due to unresponsive service.

I'm embarrassed to have to report such poor service in our community.

I plan to give my patronage to stores who take pride in giving excellent service.

Back in the day, you could go here and get icecream and yum. However, the last two times I purchased icecream from this location, it tasted like it melted on the sides and they scooped up all this sticky residue and put it in the cup. The first time meh, perhaps a mishap but the second time, now I don't want anymore icecream from this location because they will sell you anything instead of ensuring quality for their customers. When I tried to let them know about my experience the first time, they told me I should have brought the icecream back with my receipt. Like what, check your product, because this tastes horrible. We work too hard for our coins to not receive the quality we are expecting to receive and they're not the friendliest either. So...we won't be back to...

The last 2 times I've been there I wanted an Oreo sundae. No ice cream. Was told that they would have it today (Monday). I called to check before going up there & they said come tomorrow. Their breakfast is horrible too. There won't be a third time. They need to close or get...
