The perfect place for custom baked goods! I honestly cannot think of any way that the service or baked goods could have been better! Sara is incredibly friendly and professional, answers emails quickly and in detail, and delivered the cupcakes on time and in wonderful packaging! The cupcakes themselves were much cuter than I anticipated, and everyone loved them. The entire experience was easy and fun! To give more detail: I ordered some custom cupcakes for an ocean-themed event at The University of Chicago. Sara was excited about the event and gave me many ideas an options about how to theme the cupcakes, then went ahead and created cupcakes with customized flavors and colors. They were beautiful! The payment process is very easy - you are simply billed via PayPal. Sara had the cupcakes ready exactly on time on our pre-arranged day of pickup, in very nice boxes within bags for easy transport. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience! As for the cupcakes themselves, they were delicious!!

Not only was the decoration and detail exactly what we wanted but the cake was DELICIOUS!! Not cheaply made like store bought cakes. It was soft and moist with just the right about of sweet. Best cake I have ever had honestly! Multiple guests asked where I got it and wanted her contact card. Thank you Sara for being a part of our celebration!!

If you are visiting or live in the Chicago area and want a tasty treat, you need to contact The Windy City Baker. We called ahead for a small get together and wanted to stay local. I wasn't sure what I really wanted for a dessert tray but Sara was very helpful in working within our theme and taste preference. I knew I wanted a cake but outside of that I had no clue. She came up with a beautiful custom cake for the celebration and I could not be more pleased. She communicated everything clearly and finished on time! We picked up since we were local and the whole family loved the cake. First time my dessert was everyone's favorite lol unfortunately there were no left overs so I suggest getting extra for yourself ;) Thank you Sara, we will be back to try...
