Stopped here for a quick snack for my kids, ordered a McFlurry and 2 apple pies to name a few. The McFlurry was all over the outside of the plastic lid, okay so maybe no big deal but they could have at least wiped it down. I checked the bag like we always do, there was 1 apple pie. I told the server (a guy with a beard that wasn’t even covered) he responds “I put 2 in there!” I checked again, took everything out, even all the napkins at the bottom. Still didn’t see any. He angrily replies “I’m sure I put 2 in there!” I handed him the bag and said look yourself there’s only 1. He wouldn’t look at the bag (because he was wrong!!!) and said “Well, I can’t do anything now, you’ll have to pull forward!” Like okay how about “I’m sorry about that, would you mind pulling forward?”
So I’m waiting in my car unsure of how long it’s going to take as our fries are getting cold. I call the number on the receipt and they said it’s still baking. That would have been nice to know beforehand.
The manager comes out and sees me waiting, asks the server who just stepped out for his break, he responds in an annoyed voice “she says I only gave her 1 apple pie even though I gave her 2 so she’s waiting for 1 more!”
It’s an apple pie!!! Really? Why would I lie to get another apple pie?!?! I can afford to buy as many apple pies as I want!!!
So I rolled up to the manager and told him “ I checked the bag multiple times there’s only 1, here take a look yourself!” As I’m trying to explain to the manager, he’s walking back in and not even trying to listen to me and says “I don’t care what’s in the bag I just want to get your problem solved!” No apologies either??? Man these people here are rude!!!
So I wait some more and someone else comes out with my pie and finally apologizes for the wait. I told him I have no problem with waiting, I do have a problem with how rude everyone else is!!!
I get back to our Inn, the apple pie they just handed me was undercooked and the first apple pie they originally gave me had a sticker that said consume by 8:30am. This was at 2pm!!!!
Don’t ever go to this McDonald’s!!! The Starbucks across the street has the best servers ever. They’re courteous, well...
Read moreWhen it comes to this store, I found that the food, speed, and the cleanliness of the store were spectacular. The crew members did nothing wrong and were spectacular, my issue was with the manager. The reason why I had an issue with the manager because he treated his crew members. He (a curly haired manager in a gray shirt) was extremely disrespectful to his crew especially the one person, saying “If your not doing anything, just get out of my way and do the lobby or something”, meanwhile she’s actively restocking her store and he seems to be offended he can’t walk around. Regardless, even if she was in the way( which was not) the sheer tone and harshness of him to the crew members even if may not seem like it, can eat someone up or make someone feel like trash. If it were me getting told that, I know I would feel like trash and be less and less encouraged to not only work well, but be best crew member I could be. This manager should be disciplined appropriately for this, this is not acceptable in any work environment, especially from authority, if roles were switched to him, he most likely would feel the same way. While I have written a review, I forgot to add the fact he also was offended when I confronted the issue with him, he said “don’t tell me how to do my job” and “Don’t start something” when all I did was alert him of his issue and how he should treat his crew better. A simple even “ okay, I can work on this, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to treat my crew like that” but based on his response of essentially not really caring and being offended I called him out it feels like a regular behavior. Once again, I also like to add the lobby was spotless and the crew member could only pace around because there is as literally nothing to do, do better and discipline this person please. Once again, the food and speed were fine, but these are humans, treat them that way, also, please do better. Locals(I’m not from here) push them on this so they improve or take this...
Read moreWe stopped in Idaho Springs about 9:55pm last night, October 14th to get a bite to eat. We waited in line at the drive thru for about 10 minutes (at least) and was never acknowledged so we pulled up to the window and again waited for some time to be acknowledged. When we finally were, we placed our order and the guy was really inconvenienced by the fact that I asked for a small cone. He probably thought that we couldn't hear him, or maybe he did it on purpose but he loudly said Why? Just because I wanted a cone. When we were being handed our meal, we first got our drinks, we ordered two Sprites and first thing we noticed was that they had no ice, I didn't care by this point, just wanted to get our food so we can get back on our way home. Our cheeseburgers weren't wrapped correctly, about a 1/4 of it wasn't even covered. I picked up the 2nd burger and it was the same way. We just laughed it off. I put the fries in the middle of myself and the driver so we could share and low and behold, they were cold, needless to say we couldn't eat them they were so gross. Next onto our nuggets.. the driver and I were sharing them, we both only ate 1 each because they were so cold and shriveled up that they were disgusting! My granddaughter also ordered nuggets and ate 2 out of the 10 pieces for the same reason, cold, shriveled up and disgusting!
We wasted $26 dollars! The only decent thing about the whole meal was my vanilla cone!
Next time I stop, it will be to give Carl's Jr's...
