First and last time I will ever stop at this location! If I could give zero stars, I would! This is by far the WORST Subway I have ever been to, and I eat Subway on a very regular basis, and have for 20 + years! The customer service is absolutely horrible! The food prep area is disgusting, the staff is slow and rude, and seems to have had zero training! I would fire everyone except the foreign exchange students, since they just need proper training and a team that supports them.
We (mom, dad, wife and myself) stopped here after a long day spent in the mountains. We wanted something that was quick, but still healthy and satisfied my wife's dietary needs. My mom and dad wanted to use the restroom and wash their hands before ordering their food. They were told that they had to order food first, and they would be provided with the code when they pay. One of the customers provided them with the code. My wife then ordered her sandwich on flat bread. The foreign exchange student couldn't understand, so he kept grabbing bread until we gestured that it was correct. After nearly 5 minutes, she was waiting at the register, another foreign exchange student came out and asked what I wanted. I ordered and had the same bread issue. Finally, the kid on his break in the corner said "we are out of white bread", so I ordered Italian Herb & Cheese after reviewing the "bread menu". The student grabbed 9-grain honey oat and I told him that it was wrong. The kid on break again spoke up and said "we don't have that here". Not sure why it's on the menu then!? I ok'd the 9-grain, and then had to circle back on what my order was after already telling them 3 times. After taking his time to make my sandwich, I said "can we hurry it up a little". The original student then asked my mom what she wanted, and again, same bread issues. The kid on break said "I'll just help out so there isn't anymore issues", which I said "thank you" to. He asked what I wanted on my sandwich while still paying attention to the order that my mom was placing. They were still having bread issues, so the kid said 'if you don't like it, leave and go to McDonalds". I told him to calm down and asked for a manager, to which he replied "I will get you their phone number because you are being rude". I said "that would be great because you are the one being rude" while we agreed amongst ourselves that once that was provided, we would be leaving. At that point, a young girl came out from the back and said "don't give them the number, tell them to leave or we will call the cops since that is what our manager has told us to do if a customer is being rude". We again stated that they were the ones being rude. In the end, they never provided the number.
We left and went to Carl's Jr across the street where the Service was fantastic, which I already knew from past experience.
We have since called the manager, and she said she reviewed the camera footage and accused us of being racist, which is so far from the truth. I'm not sure how she could call us racist because we only wanted our food made in a timely fashion, it is "fast food", and this experience took about 15 minutes.
It's pretty obvious who is at fault here based on the reviews. All of the recent reviews are 1 or 2 stars, and one even claims racism against him.
The entire time this was happening, there was a lady that had placed an online order standing to the left of my wife waiting to pick up and pay at the register. The rude girl from the back said she didn't know what she was talking about and that there wasn't an...
Read moreI love giving customer service employees the benefit of the doubt, let's face it dealing with hungry guests is not easy. What got me and my family is that you could just tell that the employees didn't want to be there. They would ignore guests to do other tasks such as mobile order or cooking bread which is fine but I feel like just a little "Hey I'll be with you in just one moment" could go a long way. We were waiting for about 30-45 minutes in line and when we finally got to the front to order it took an additional 20 ish minutes for them to finish just completing my 4 person family's order- that's excluding actually making the food. My sister really needed to eat as she was dizzy and the staff on duty let her have the sandwich before us paying for it which is the only reason why service is not 1 star for me. Lastly, my sister also went to use the restroom and was walked in on because there was no proper lock- just a keypad that doesn't tell you if someone is inside. The food was good, not worth the wait though. Our visit is making us nervous to visit other Subways in the area or even back in our home...
Read moreI had a good experience here. Was stopping by for a quick bite to eat? The uh, the guy who was working. I'm counting. It was very pleasant. He went above and beyond. He definitely made the experience a lot better. Then it could've been And so on top of the coin, I think he deserves praise panda raids. Sadly, I wasn't in a bit of a rush, so I did not catch his name but he was the only one working today When I went in there. Your employee i made, what could have been a normal ordinary trip to Subway. And turned made the whole experience that much greater. The reason why you guys get 5 stars today. Employees like him are far and few in between, and he deserves the recognition for what you've done. To the managers at Subway, the gentleman I dealt with today. It definitely deserves a rave. I don't say that lately. But know when you've got quality in employees and pay them what they're worth, because it is definitely worth it. If more people were like him, this world wouldn't be a bad place. So thank you for the simple act...
