Courtney Ryley Cooper Park — Attraction in Idaho Springs

Ample parking, hours are from 0600 to 2200 for vehicles and restroom access - after that vehicles get ticketed and restrooms locked. Within walking distance headed west, right by the official visitor center, you have additional parking and 6 port-a-potties (2 are ADA compliant) with 3 on each side of the street. The park itself has a pretty good kid playground area and a couple of bridges across the creek, head to the west or east and you will enjoy a short loop walk to potty/exercise any pets. Be mindful of the creek, it is used for white water rafting tours so it will always be swift and full of rocks. I'm from Idaho springs, so I may be jilted a bit. The park is lovely. Plenty Of toys for the kids and tables to eat at. It sits along the Clear Creek River.
