Shared a 4 meat with 4 sides, had brisket, pulled pork, and ribs with a tea. ( Looks like drinks are mostly bottled, tea was asked for unsweetened, was given sweet tea.) $50 and change with tip $63.
Well smoked but not flavorful unless using 1 of the 3 small servings of sauce..... Wasn't offered or advised on sauces just given 1 each of a serving that might, might be enough for 1 side of meat. As mentioned above four sides of meat. One was a more traditional barbecue style sauce the other 2 were quite runny and vinegary, not what I'm used to. Probably would have went with 4 small cups of a more traditional barbecue style but once again I was not offered any advice or information on sauces available.
All the meats were well cooked and still juicy sides of ribs were three bones each, brisket portion was good once again could use more flavor for my liking but without that much sauce it was just meat to me. The pulled pork could have definitely used some of the barbecue sauce that I didn't have so I tried to dump the vinegary sauce on it to eat it, was alright.
The mac and cheese looked like it would be good and cheesy but was rather runny could taste the noodles completely through the cheese sauce.
Beans were not much to get that excited over I think could have cooked them a little longer and a rather watery sauce to me. The top of the container had already had the sauce run off it had to mix it up was beans with sauce I guess not what I'm used to on a more watery consistency than what I usually have beans at.
Potato salad was rather bland too for my liking although I know some people like it rather light in flavor overall not bad, did use some red potato.
Have had better coleslaw it was not sweet which was good and coleslaw usually takes a lot for me to be impressed with probably better than I can make it home for certain.
So as we drove away thinking we could either sit on the patio or we could go sit down and eat elsewhere thought for 50 bucks you could throw some forks maybe a spoon and some napkins in got none of those would have been cool to have something to wipe your hands with as it is barbecue I don't know how many people have ate that and not had to wash their hands unless they're using a fork and knife which we didn't get so that was not an option. Stopped by a gas station to grab utensils. If I go back I guess I'll ask for all these things just thought for 50 bucks you throw the stuff in so you could eat it, assuming that not everyone is going to go home and eat this, probably not normal to not give this stuff but failure out this time. Pretty sure McDonald's at least throws you some napkins in without asking.
May give it one more shot I'll bring my salt pepper barbecue sauce napkins and...

On 6/23/21, I visited Neighbor Tim’s BBQ in Boise, a Texas-style barbecue and catering business that serves out of a drive through. Tim Goebel specializes in slow cooked Texas Style Brisket and Carolina Pork Shoulder. He uses prime grade meat and a custom Texas style offset smoker. The meat is slowly cooked for 12 to 14 hours over natural apple and oak woods. The end result is “a sweet and savory flavor with a cowboy kick of spice.”
I ordered 2 Meat + 1 Side ($18). I got ribs and burnt ends with potato salad. Burnt ends are a special that only available on Wednesdays. I bought three additional sides for $3.50 each: baked beans, coleslaw, mac & cheese.
The ribs were seasoned with a rub and fall-off-the-bone tender. The burnt ends were served with a homemade barbecue sauce. Both were high quality meats that were flavorful. They came with some tasty pickles that I suspect were homemade and pickled onion.
I loved the potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw. Both of potato salad and baked beans come with the option of having bacon added. I chose to have some bacon added to my baked beans. The potato salad was made with thinly sliced potatoes. It was well seasoned and had a slight tang. The coleslaw was packed with flavor. It also has a slight tang. The “Snappy/Sassy” baked beans were the perfect mix of sweet and savory. I would go so far as to say that the potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw were some of the best I’ve ever had. The mac & cheese was a classic version.
Homemade barbecue sauce is available in both regular and spicy. A homemade mustard sauce is served with the German sausage, which is made by Old Country Sausage in Nampa.
In addition to great service and a short wait, the food was beautifully packaged. If you want to eat on site, In addition to several covered picnic tables in front of the drive-through, there are a bunch of picnic tables, including a couple of child-sized ones, on a lawn on the west side of the property.
Location: 7802 W. Goddard Rd.
