I decided to give this place another shot after we placed a massive coffee order for our all staff meeting this past July, which resulted in a massive coffee leak in our company vehicle because the gaskets were not put on the coffee containers properly. I overlooked this experience because you typically have good coffee. So I ordered from this location again hoping for a better experience.
I had the most awful experience ordering two cartons (gallons) of coffee yesterday morning. I ordered the coffee an hour before pick up and the manager took the order. I knew something was wrong from the get-go when she did not take down my name or phone number. I get mornings are busy so I called ahead of time. I’ve ordered cartons of coffee at other locations so I expected it to be ready for me when I told her what time I’d pick up. I arrived at the scheduled time to pick up (8:45 am), and the coffee was not even brewed. I also was not greeted until several minutes after I have been there-waiting at the walk up service window.. They asked me to wait another 15 minutes and 20 minutes later, she handed me a wet and opened box (broken) with two half-filled pouches in the box. I told the barista that I never seen it done this way. And none of the pouches are even a gallon. She said that she would only charge me for one box. I said I needed 2 gallons of coffee and why isn’t this in another box? She said that she was out of stock and the second one leaked. Why did she sell me two boxes without checking her inventory? And why wasn’t I informed as it was happening I had to have coffee for a meeting which put me in a time crunch already and I could have ordered this from a different location. Though I was comped on this, not even a gallon of coffee, I was disappointed in the Very poor service, and I typically like going here but you have lost my business. I knew they wouldn’t top my expectations of producing quality coffee beverages like Neckar but I didn’t expect them to taste so watered down. My husband and I ordered a Mocha with coconut milk and a caramel latte with regular milk. The girl that initially took our order while we were standing in line messed it up as she had to reconfirm what we ordered with the girl that was making our drinks. We specifically asked that the Mocha shouldn’t be sweet, but because they use chocolate syrup, they could only do so much (it ended up still coming out quite sweet). I wish they could invest in a chocolate sauce that had no sugar in it. My Latte got weirdly messed up too as the girl mistakenly made mine without any sweetener (despite me clarifying that I did want mine sweet and with regular milk). We only noticed this mistake when we drove away after getting the drinks, so we had to unfortunately turn back after running our errands. We appreciate the girls for remaking the drinks but they just weren’t it. My latte had to be the most watered down latte I’ve ever had and was devoid of that rich expresso flavor. The Mocha didn’t taste like it had coconut milk in it… I am guessing they just don’t use a great brand. Read moreI’ve been going to this human bean for four years now. The service is always fast, and every single person has always been polite and friendly. I find them such a delight. I usually go early in the morning, between 9 AM to 11 AM depending on when I get a start to my day and when the kids wake up. For about two months now this human being has had one of their lanes closed. I just found out today it was due to the lack of employees. But even with the lack of employees, and the hassle that the customers give the employees for the other window being shut down, the employees still keep a cheery face and are super friendly. Every time I have a question, or anytime I want to try something new they’re very fast at assuring me what to try next, or telling me where they got their banana bread. This one does not disappoint. The owner should be very proud by the resilience these employees have. I’ve never had a mistake.
