My mother and I had the pleasure of visiting B.B. Bridal Boutique in Boise on 6/26/25. This was my first real gown shopping experience (aside from a random single-dress try on, that I saw in a window). I was both excited and nervous for my appointment. I was walking in with the plan to be in the moment but low expectations because my wedding date was 15 months out, so I didnât want to rush.
My mom and I were welcomed by Sam upon arrival. She was incredibly kind and warm. Then, we were introduced to our stylist for the day, Tiarra. Tiarra immediately took any anxiety out of my body! She sat us down in our room and explained the whole process and what to expect about the day. Tiarra asked personal and qualifying questions to make sure she fully understood not just about the wedding, but about me as a person, and my partner. She was very attentive and âunderstood the assignmentâ. At that point, she led us to the main area and we began perusing the show room for dresses. She also made very clear the areas that were in my budget so I didnât accidentally fall in love with something I could not afford⊠again, so kind and attentive. My mother and I each selected a couple of gowns and then we started to try on!
The private dressing room was clean, comfortable, and well lit. Tiarra was not just professional, but the best hype-girl! She has a talented eye on what works for a womanâs body and can clip and snatch the fabric to make it lay beautifully.
We started with my pick. It was a lovely A-line with floral appliquĂ©s. The fit and colors were very pretty, but wasnât feeling like it was âthe oneâ. The second dress was a Tiarra pick. Figure-hugging, ivory, simple. Which I was surprised I gravitated to because I was envisioning non-traditional and colored. But, that was it. She knew me more than I knew myself. Tiarra nailed her selection and that was it. I began to do the âbridal petâ. I was gliding my hands along my figure curves and could see the best of me staring back in the mirror. I have never felt so beautiful! When we entered the viewing room, i knew that my mother also saw it was the one. Although traditional, Tiarra listened to my wants and was ready to take the dress to the next level. Initially, she suggested a gorgeous fall-colored floral veil. I am not a veil girl, but she pivoted and went down the rabbit hole with me to make it even more special. We turned the veil into a cape and that was it. Done. She knew exactly what I was looking for and what I needed and she was able to âplayâ with me in the moment to see the potential. Tiarra has a real eye for this and she knows how to be creative and think outside the box.
I knew that was THE dress, but needed a minute to think. Tiarra was thoughtful, kind, understanding, and allowed me to process. She is not a salesperson. She is a human who respects her clients. I also didnât want to say yes without my MIL present. So, after much discussion, I made a second appointment to come back a couple days later, with my future MIL, and mother, to officially say yes. I was so grateful for Tiarraâs understanding and guidance.
Tiarra even tried to adjust her schedule to be present later when I came back. Although it didnât work out for her to be there the day I said âyesâ, I could feel her presence and her essence when I was in the dress again.
Tiarra is a special person who is absolutely in the right line of work. She has a calming aura and warm demeanor. I cannot thank her enough for her support in finding my dress. Itâs perfect and I canât wait until I get the call to pick her up! It was the most special experience to share that first appointment with her, and my mother. She also took so many photos for us during the appointment! She took in upon herself to grab phones (or our cute disposable cameras, compliments of my fiancĂ©) to make sure we captured every moment.
If youâre in Boise and looking for your perfect wedding dress experience, I encourage you to make an appointment with the ladies at B.B Bridal. Sam, and especially Tiarra, will make you feel...

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with this bridal shop has been nothing short of devastating.
When I tried on my dream dress, I am almost certain it was a size 14 (my Maid of Honor remembers hearing the same). After my measurements, the shop insisted on ordering me a size 6. The dress arrived and was completely unwearableâmy breasts were spilling out, and it didnât even cover my nipples. I may be thin, but I have a large natural bust, and the fit was obviously wrong.
They reordered a size 10âeven though I told them multiple times that I believed I had tried on a 14. Again, it didnât fit. They then claimed the sample had actually been a 12, so they ordered an 12. I was desperate and running out of time, I trusted them and left with the size 12.
After $800 worth of alterations, the dress STILL did not fit my chest. I had no choice but to buy a completely new gown 32 days before my wedding. When I called today, I was told once again that their records show the sample was a 12, and that the reason the dress fit me better during my initial appt was because it had been âclipped differentlyâ during my try-on. I donât believe that, but thatâs the explanation I was given.
In the end, their only âsolutionâ was to suggest I sell the dress online. No accountability, no real recourseâjust a wasted dress, wasted money, and endless stress during what should have been an exciting time.
Brides, please be warned: trust your instincts, because this shop will not advocate for you. Their mistakes cost me thousands of dollars, months of stress, and my original vision for my wedding day.

Iâve now spoken with several other bridal shops, both locally and in surrounding states, and Iâve been told the explanation I was givenâthat the dress must have just been âclamped differentlyâ during my initial try-onâdoes not make sense. Clamping a dress would not change the cup size, and it does not explain why the dress I received fit so differently and incorrectly.
The sample dress I tried on at this shop fit me. They insist that sample was a size 12, but the size 12 they ordered for me absolutely does not fit. I stand by my recollection that the sample I tried on was a size 14, as it fit with only slight gaping in the straps that could have been resolved with adjustments. In the size 12 they ordered, the dress does not even contain my breasts.
I also reached out to bridal shop owners in Idaho, Montana, and Utah to ask whether the resolution I was offeredââjust sell it onlineââwas standard in the industry. Every single one told me absolutely not. The industry standard is that a bride should be able to trust her bridal shop to order the correct size and, if a mistake is made, to make it right by either re-ordering or refunding.
Sadly, that was not my...
Read moreI wanted to wait until after my wedding to write a review. I was so disappointed in this place. I had a few friends buy their wedding dress here so I figured I'd add it to our list. From the moment I signed up for an appointment I was concerned. I got a call the week after scheduling from someone who was very energetic and seemed to want to just be helpful. Her wording was what made me worried. She asked me if I had put down the wrong year for my wedding and if it was supposed to be 2026. I said no and asked what the issue was. She said she hoped I was a small size so I could buy a dress right off the rack. She wanted at least 6 months to make sure my dress was on time. I had exactly 6 months from my appointment to wedding. Concerning. (wedding was end of July and appointment was end of January)
The week before my appointment I got a text from "the owner" saying she was excited I was coming in and she had pre-pulled dresses for me to make sure they were ones that would come in time. She never once asked me what my size was, style, wants, nothing. Thoughtful but also confusing.
Appointment time, not a single dress was pre-pulled for me and they said they don't do that for any bride. Totally fine but don't text me that before. We were put with a stylist who was new. Totally fine but she did not listen to what we had learned at the bridal shop we went to beforehand. So we basically started over. I asked for nothing super tight as that was a personal preference even though I am smaller built. All she pulled was tight. When I tried them on she had me "dive" through them through the top and put them over my head. By the end my static hair was unreal. Then the sucking in. I understand she needed to pull dresses tight so I could see what they looked like in my size but I woke up the next morning with bruised sides and a huge welt on my back from a miss of clipping. Not to mention the constant people just walking into my try on room to take dresses and veils because another bride wanted them.
Once we decided I might actually like one I asked her what the next step is if we have one more shop to visit the next day and don't want to buy yet. She said "well if you are the indecisive type then our timelines won't work for your wedding date and we probably aren't for you."
Grateful I found my dress at another local bridal shop who took the time to listen and care about me during my entire appointment. Not every bridal shop is for everyone but I at least wanted future brides to know both sides...
