So I was hungry and looking for some Italian food that wouldn’t break the bank. Found Dali’s Carry Out & Catering in Elmhurst and decided to give it a try. I called to order and at first they put me on hold, but then they actually called me back (already a good sign). The lady on the phone was super nice. I asked for the Thursday lasagna special… but it was actually Wednesday 🤦. She laughed and said “don’t worry, we got you.” Loved that. I ordered lasagna, garlic bread, and tiramisu. Said it’d be ready in 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant. It’s a very small place, but appeared clean and well kept. This is a family owned and operated business and the people working there seemed very friendly. The next thing I noted was there was no tip option when I paid with my credit card. There was also no tip jar. This made me actually want to leave a tip! Got back to my hotel and opened my food up… holy crap! The lasagna portion was HUGE. Could’ve easily fed 2 people, maybe more. Super cheesy, super saucy, just really good comfort food. Tiramisu was the same way — giant portion, amazing flavor. Honestly one of the best I’ve had. If you’re in Elmhurst, check this place out. If you’re somewhere mildly close, make the drive in or check out their catering! Next time I’m back in Chicago I’m 100% coming here again.

business pizzeria can offer....it is safe to say this one is THE BEST. Cheesiest, priced, tastiest.....oh my. I took my GF here on a Friday night with every intention in the world to do a Yelp review. We enjoy trying small pizzerias & reviewing them. This one is awesome. When we walked in we were greeted by the man behind the desk (I think his name is Anthony) who took the time to walk us through the menu. From the broasted chicken, to tacos, to hot dogs, all the way to sweets.......we ordered mozz stix, chopped salad, sausage pizza, & chocolate cake. FAIRLY PRICED MODERATELY PRICED. The mozz stix were chewy & hot. The chopped salad was blasting with flavors, the pizza oh my goshhhhh the pizza! Perfectly cooked gooey, hot, tasty, oh my gosh the pizza. And then on top of this....their chocolate cake. It was truly amazing. The restaurant was clean, the tv had a cool movie on, & as we were eating we noticed the staff knew almost everyone's first name when they walked in...talk about customer service holy cow! I asked to speak to the manager. Some lady named Terry who was nice & said she's been at this location for awhile. Highly recommended I will return

First, I'll address the 4 star atmosphere rating. It's not a bad reflection on the business in any way. I just think 5 stars would be misleading since it's a small place in a strip mall. I mean, it's clean, nice people, but not a fancy place. The important thing is, the food is very good! I'd been craving a good Italian sub sandwich for a while and something told me they'd do a good job, but they did a great job. It was so packed with meats and toppings, I could only eat half, and I cannot wait to eat the other half later. The bread was really good, too. I got my toddler a side of meatballs and he loved them. My sister got the broasted chicken and loved it. We used to get that as kids somewhere, and she said it hit the spot. I got a cannoli to-go and looked at it when I got home just to see if it looked as good as in the photos and yes it does. Delicious. It's just down the street from the hospital, so if you're visiting someone who just had a baby, bring them a sandwich! They will love you forever.

Dileo's has great food. It is unfortunate that the service and friendliness of the staff is mediocre. There have been several instances where I ordered food, picked up my order and arrived home to eat only to learn that items are either missing or all togerher not what I ordered!

Mistakens happen, i get this however, you'd think that after a customer brings it to their attention they would be more careful.

On Thursday July 11th I placed an order for the baked italian chicken dinner. I asked for a 6 piece dinner to consist of two breasts, two wings and two drumsticks...I knew there would be an upcharge and this was fine. When i paid for my order i was told that $3.00 was taken off my total as a courtesy for the last order they screwed up. As a habit I checked my order. The chicken was there, but no potatoes, no carrots and no salad or garlic bread! I asked the teen who took my order where the rest of my food was. She looked as if she wanted to cry. An older, mean and tired looking woman appeared and asked what the problem was. I explained and I was near tears also. I was exhausted, hungry and tired. The older eoman appeared, took the container with the chicken in it. She left. Five minutes or so later she came back with the chicken and a container of potato's and a salad with a slice of garlic bread. She stated that mistakes happen! I stated they should not happen every time. She stated that maybe DiLeo's was not the place for me. You know, by golly I think she's right. Customer's should be treated respectfully, and since we do pay for the food we should not have to be subject to rude owners too....

Had some food delivered earlier and well... such a bad experience. I ordered an Italian sub and one of the meats on the sandwich had a very foul taste. Something was clearly off. The lettuce was withered and discolored. Needless to say I had to give it up and toss it. Also, Cole slaw came with the sandwich and it was clearly old and had a pungent odor that was a clear indication. My girlfriend tried to eat it thinking it was just the way they made it but she ended up throwing it away. Hours later and we're both feeling rather sick. They'll be hearing from us if we find ourselves hospitalized with full blown food poisoning.

A few side notes, we've tried their pizza before a couple times (more than once, trying to give it a fair chance). It's very bland and tasteless. The ingredients aren't particularly fresh or of good quality. Very boring, look elsewhere for decent pizza. I've ordered cheese fries, they forgot the cheese. We've had the appetizer platter (forget the actual menu name) and everything was undercooked, the breading on some items barely darkened during the frying process. I also ordered the potato skins and they were missing a lot of cheese, very dry and overcooked. It's like they were reheated from yesterday lol. Last thing to mention is that the prices are ridiculously high for the sub par food they offer. Save your money and taste buds for a place that puts care into their food (and save yourself from the possible food poisoning). I'd give this place a negative number if I could but I'll give them 1 star because I have to and at least the delivery...

I ordered dinner for me and my daughter on Tuesday night late in the evening. We ordered a panzerotti, fried mushrooms, cheeseburger and fries and tiramisu. My daughter answered the door as I am recovering from surgery and gave the driver 50.00 for the 46.00 of food. After she brought the food in the house she informed me that the only items there were the panzerotti and tiramisu. I tried contacting the restaurant at 10:14 when we discovered the food was missing but no one answered. I spoke with the manager Terri the following day and she told me that when I wanted to order again there would be no charge for my cheeseburger and fries, and the mushrooms. Today (thursday) I called the restaurant and ordered the cheeseburger plain and fries well done, the mushrooms and a pasta dish for my daughter. They Said they were only charging for the pasta dish. My order can and the food was all there, bit the burger had everything in it and the fries were ice cold and limp. I called the restaurant to tell the manager the situation. She suggested I scrape the burger at which point I informed her of my allergy to mustard. She told me I could order another burger but that they were too busy to bring it out and they would send it when they could. In the meantime she also informed me that she was the "one losing out here" I have been getting food here for 25 years and have never been treated so poorly. 2 1/2 hours later I still have not received my food and have been made to feel bad for not receiving my...
