Donut Avenue — Restaurant in Imperial

I go here once in awhile since my mom resides in Imperial, but the cashier (lady) try to take advantage of my sister n law who has a developmental disability. I am trying to help her be more independent and allowed her to get off to order, and I handed her 3 bills of $20 because since everything is so expensive nowadays just handed her enough to cover the bill more or less, her total was $32 she handed all three bills ($20's) and she only came back with 8 dollars ,that's $20 dollars short! I called it to the ladies( cashier) attention and she try to play if off... but I know she was trying to take advantage. If anyone goes here, just keep track of how much your paying and how much you get in return as they don't like to...

I went inside and I seen Donuts that look like they had been there for two days or they were just poorly made and then I asked for a sweet tea with extra lime and I was given a bowl of lemons and I asked if they could please be squeezed for me and the woman told me that if I would like to squeeze them then I'm more than welcome so I had to stand there and squeeze my own lemon juice into my own tea not a good experience nothing like conchita's in El Centro you order something and they give it to you you're not expected to squeeze your own juice into your own t that's what you pay for will...

Great food and service and prices, they get 4 of 5 because they're not always consistent with what comes in a burrito or other things unless you specify exactly what you want. Ex Carne asada burrito has meat and sauce, next time meat, sauce and beans, next time meat, beans, rice, cheese... and I just said Carne asada burrito nothing different. Now understand I personally thought they all tasted good but now I specify my order so I'm not guessing what's coming in/...
