I normally LOVE this location. The staff there are normally super friendly and lovely to deal with, at least as a Doordasher.
However, a few days ago I went in with my fiance to get lunch and I ordered a chicken cheese steak sub and the gentleman who was supposed to be helping me was pushy. I struggle with a brain injury which causes word stumbling, stuttering, and anxiety. I was struggling to tell him what i wanted on my sandwhich and struggling to get the words out.
He repeatedly asked me what i wanted ontop of my sub and I continued to struggle. I tried to tell him I had a brain injury and that i needed time. He continued to be pushy about the toppings. I explain again I have a brain injury and that i need a moment. Again my statement was ignored. I had to basically yell at him and disclose to a busy store my medical history just to get this order together.
Finally he lets me go look at the toppings and tell him what i decide. I'm handed my little hand written hot sub ticket and we go to the check out where the girls who were working the cash were amazing. They were nice and gentle and worked with me and kept their tone gentle and even especially because my anxiety was SO HIGH and i was struggling more than normal to talk and process information.
I got home tho, opened up my sub, he didn't even bother to cut it. My fiances sub was cut but my sub wasn't. Also Most of the toppings i asked for were not on it and instead were toppings i DIDN'T ask for. I didn't mind the flavor of them so i just ate it but it soured further this whole experience.
I'm actually scared to go back now because of that gentleman. If i ever go back i'll just order ahead so i never have to...
Read moreOrdered #5 Jumbo sub. I asked to have sub cut in half before condiments added because I am allergic to tomatoes. My friend likes tomatoes. We get identical condiments with the exception of the tomatoes, otherwise. The manager on site immediately had an issue as soon as I asked for it to be cut in half. She right away said I had to pay for 2 regular subs. I tried to explain the tomatoes issue and she got very argumentative and ultimately told the cashier to charge me with 2 subs. I was extremely taken back over the fact it had to do with a condiment not the physical sub. I order this sub, this way, everytime I get a jumbo. NEVER have had an issue before! I filed a complaint with Jersey Mike's and was contacted by email, by owner? from Clarkston location. She refused to talk to me in person after I repeatedly asked for a phone call. There was no follow-up. I find that to be disrespectful. Since you get to pick the condiments you like on a sub...tell me how this is an issue. I like living so cutting the sub in half, first, makes it so I can't accidentally get tomatoes on my side! Horrible Customer Service at this location. Read moreI just want to start by saying I LOVE Jersey Mikes and I have for years now. But for the last six months to a year, the Clarkston location has really gone downhill. Every time that I order from this location, whether it is pick up or delivery I am either missing items or my order is incorrect. I have even stood in the line at the store to order and have still had to correct staff for making the incorrect sandwich. It seems to me like the customer service and staff can’t be bothered or just don’t care enough to make food correctly. I get Jersey Mike’s usually one to two times a month and I get the same exact thing every time. For reference I get a number for Mike’s Way on Rosemary Parm bread and add mayo, pickles, and banana peppers, which I don’t feel like is that difficult. Today I ordered from Jersey Mike’s and I got my normal sandwich the same way I get it every time, but the sandwich that I received was not a number four did not have banana peppers and for some reason they put bacon on it. When I tried to call the store, I dialed multiple times and no one ever picked up. It is extremely disappointing and frustrating and I hope that they find a way to fix the issues going on there soon before they lose...
