Last night (May 17th), my family and I (10 in total, 7 adults and 3 kids), visited this location. My mom had called ahead to get placed on the waitlist because of our group size. We had figured that we’d have to wait and had been okay with that. The hostess told us it would be a 30 minute wait to seat us. That 30 minutes turned into over an hour. Fine, we get it. Once seated, we had been given no silverware (only forks for the kids). So when the bread came, we had no way of cutting it or putting butter on it. When I informed our server, she came off as annoyed that we asked. She huffed and said nothing had been rolled yet. That’s fine, but we needed silverware and other patrons around us had been given silverware. When she did bring us silverware, several of the items still had bits of food stuck to them. Our server took them. Set them on the bench beside me (see included picture) and left them there the entire time. I had to keep my 2 year old from going after the items. It took forever for our salads to arrive. My salad was so wet from water, that I could barely eat it. Lifting up the lettuce, water was just dripping from it. Adding the dressing only made things even more soggy, so I gave up on that. Our entrees took even longer to arrive. When it did, my cousins chicken was barely cooked and was drowning in the parmesan crust but there was barely a crust on it. Her Mac n cheese (that you pay extra for) was extremely dried out and a cold clump. Her daughters kids Mac n cheese (7.99 for Kraft is ridiculous) was also cold. My steak, that I had ordered well done, came with one side cooked medium-well and the other side of the steak was medium-rare. I couldn’t eat my steak nor did I get to even eat my side. When I informed our server, she did offer a new steak. But by this time it was 7:30! We had been there for 3 hours already. I was not about to wait for another 8 ounce sirloin steak, to be cooked improperly (my husband’s renegade ribeye was undercooked too). The server took my plate. I didn’t even get to eat my baked potato. Yes she took my meal off, but now I was left with only some bread to eat. My dinner was literally a glass of water and some bread. What was meant to be an enjoyable night out with family (some who came in from st. Louis), turned into a disaster of a meal. This has been one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had at any...
Read moreWe came in, and we were seated immediately. I ordered their version of a long island iced tea, and my boyfriend ordered a dragon fruit margarita. My drink was good, nothing special, but if you like dragon fruit, that margarita is worth the $12 price tag. We ordered a spicy shrimp appetizer that is friend shrimp topped with red peppers and banana peppers with a ranch like dipping sauce. The shrimp are standard fried shrimp. They were good, but I didn't really get any heat, and the peppers on top didn't really add anything to the dish. The portion was huge, though, and the sauce was delicious. With the appetizers and complimentary brown bread and butter, I was full by the time I got my entree. I ordered the 20-ounce ribeye medium with macaroni and cheese and a caesar salad. My boyfriend got he same with a loaded baked potatoe and brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. They use a different cheese than standard cheddar, and it's great. Caesar salad was ok. The lettuce was kinda wilted, but the dressing was great, and it was loaded with parmesan cheese and croutons. The salad portion was also quite large for a side salad. The brussel sprouts are glazed and baked, so they are the right amount of sweet and savory, and the baked potato was solid. A great complement to that delicious steak. Service was fast despite the number of people there for a Tuesday night. Our server was friendly but had to be reminded of a few things like utensils and condiments, but it didn't detract from our date night experience enough to make it a bad night. The bill came to about $115.00, which is reasonable for two 20-ounce ribeye meals, two alcoholic drinks, and an appetizer. I will definitely...
Read morePrevious review - The food is pretty good and some of the servers are nice. But some of the tables are way too close to the bathroom😕.
Updated review - I am updating my review after my most recent experience at this restaurant. If I could give less than one star I would. I have never waited so long to be seated after calling ahead. It took about 1 1/2 hrs for my whole party to seated. Once seated we were broken into 2 parties with our children at a separate table a few feet away with a separate waitress. While the adults were serviced by a nice waitress, the children were serviced by a waitress from a nightmare. We were angrily told by her that our children could not be on our bill. She was belligerent, yelling that she wasn't working for free. She even yelled at our children and slammed food on the tables. I suppose she had pre-judged us as bad tippers, which couldn't be further from the truth. She was very petty about splitting up bills, although we had about 16 people in our party. One of the people in our party felt so threatened by that waitress that they left and sat in the car for the duration of the meal. This restaurant lost their business that day, and all of our business moving forward. The manager was little to no help. He seemed to do the waitresses job to keep her away from customers, rather than reprimand her. We were offered no apology. Our children were offered a discount, but it was too little too late. This ruined our day. This place is a hard no for me, and I haven't even mentioned that some of the food was salty and inedible. And we were still seated too close to the bathroom....
