We wait almost 30 mins for a table which is expected so I ain’t really frustrated about that just the fact our tummy’s was ready for some good eats but today was the day they lost customers. We ordered veggie scramble no spinach and a lardeo no tomato well she comes and says they are remaking the veggie scramble they put spinach in it so my husband says well I hope they didn’t put tomato in my lardeo well his plate comes what’s in it tomato and he’s already said he ain’t eating if they messed up his food well there went his meal my toast was so crunchy I sent it back and my daughter biscuits were so crunchy we were told there’s new people in the kitchen and to me that’s no excuse so they should have someone over seeing everything with the way these tables turn but hey what do I know. Anyway we tell her we don’t want anything at this point our daughter can eat but we ain’t even wanting to eat at this point. So than the general manager brings both plates remade I tell him we aren’t interested and he says everything is on me so you can eat it or we can just trash it so we let him give us the food still not interested in the plates than I spot something green in the bowl he made so made me even more frustrated we box up the Laredo to take home to our other daughter and than get a check for our daughter meal after we were told the whole meal was free so I say to the waitress this should all be free per your manager she claims her food was fine so yes we have to charge you for it. Husband is like forget it he’ll pay. Than the waitress claims she’s getting the manager but instead comes back again and says yes he said it is all on him, but her face and demeanor told me she was frustrated by us like we was there to complain and eat for free. I’m highly disappointed and will not return moving forward this has never been an experience I have expected or expect from this...
Read moreI was feeling hungry this morning on the way to the office… decided to grab a quick omelet at The Big Biscuit.
As I walked in and was seated by Emily - I saw a couple eating with their young girls.
A young girl ~4 years old raised her head up over the top of the booth and smiled at me.
I smiled back.
Kind of on a whim I told my server Emily that I was paying for the family’s breakfast and not to tell them it was me.
Anyhow they were almost done when I’d got there… they didn’t say anything to me, but left a tip on the table.
When I rang up their ticket with my ticket a little bit later Emily told me that they wanted to pay for my breakfast.
She told them that I’d already paid for both. Great thinking on her end Because both of us are ninja 🥷 quick like that. 🤣
She then said that the dad immediately went out the bar area/ other side of the restaurant to see whose tab he could pick up to pay it forward.
I chucked to myself all day regarding this scenario and sequence of events.

Read moreAlways excellent service and absolutely amazing food. After years of eating this establishment yesterday I took my wife to breakfast and it was by far our worst experience, I always order the titanic hold the green peppers because they tear me up with heartburn and it came to the table super packed with green peppers, my wife ordered the Kansas City with hash browns and a biscuit and they forgot her butter and by the time she got it biscuit was as cold as the butter, I ordered a milk with my food and didn't get it until I was half done eating and when I did get it it was spoiled. The waitress absent minded either trying to go to fast or trying to do to much, either way it was probably my only and most horrible experience at the big biscuit. I'll drive the extra distance and try another one before I experience that again. I always post pics and have 700 and 800 views on some and for the most part it's been absolutely fantastic but yesterday morning was a nightmare. The waitress did take off half of the bill and said the manager was gonna come talk to us but we never seen a manager. We paid and left. I don't know if it's lack of employees or to often changing employees but when you get used to a certain type of service and experience this type of service you tend to lose interest...
