Food was actually amazing, I went in to use the restroom and got the ol "customer's only" snub. And was undecided about dinner anyway, so I responded that "I'll buy something".. I really hope just to wash my hands at least. Anyways I came out and went full on payback Time while l approached the Young lady at the register and I started asking questions about everything and how much of I add this or that and can I get it this way and how much extra ? Is the soda in the cans the same Price as the other drinks etc etc. I waited until they were done putting up with me and good and frustrated and then I ordered One of just about everything on the menu just to be a D__k, and prove a point that you shouldn't act like that to anyone especially a potential customer. Then I assured them I was in no hurry and please do your thing and take your time please, and I will stand right here and watch, you work for me now... 😂... Then I insisted to buy One of the beautiful Flowers (Orange roses) The had out on display. Maria, I believe...the owner, hesitated and shrugged and I offered to name the price for me how much for more than one...etc, I was just having the time of My life I think I even asked her if she wanted to go out sometime if she wasn't married of course 😂🤣 I grabbed a couple of her business cards for her other side business on my way out and winked that it was okay I think I got your number here anyway, even another customer standing by was laughing hysterically at this point as I waved goodbye to everyone and exceedingly expressed My thanks and gratefulness for the wonderful experience, the food, the clean restroom and the beautiful flowers that my girlfriend's are going to Love 😘 hahaha 🤣🤣🤣😂

Food was ok. Was a little disappointed they don't serve chips and salsa at least. The meals did not come with drinks, and most of them didn't come with rice and beans, you had to order them separately. The menu is a little hard to read and don't explain what the food is. The way it's set up is you go in to the counter and order first before you set down, it's just uncomfortable to stand up there looking at a menu that you have no idea what your ordering. Also the drinks come in cans of soda, not fountain. I ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce and rice and beans. The enchiladas were good, was not impressed with the rice and beans. My fiance ordered what the waitress suggested, they were two tacos with a extra wrap around them and fried served with a dipping sauce, there was 2, no rice or beans. It was over all ok, but It would not be my choice to eat...

Holy. Mother. Of. God. We came into KC for the Oddities and Curiosities Expo and after checking into our hotel in Independence, we found this little hole in the wall. In a VERY humble strip mall, do NOT let that stop you from coming in

The menu is small but varied and the place is clean. The owners, Jesus and Josefina were friendly, kind and welcoming. That was the icing on the cake...the 'cake' was the food. We started with a carne asada burrito (no rice or beans) for my husband and 3 mini tacos for me and a single chile relleno. Everything was delicious but I went back and ordered 3 more tacos with barbacoa (shredded beef) THEY WERE THAT FREAKING GOOD.

They had two options of salsa, one mildly spicy, one made by the devil himself and they were both delish!

They've only been in business for 6 months, let's support this local...
