Nov 30 As a repeat customer, Delivery time was much slower than usual ('Tis the Season?) UPS shipment tracking service never worked ('Tis the Season, again?) Used locomotive arrived damaged (detached plow) and DCC did not function.(Reprogramming was needed to solve this issue.) Website Blue drop down banner is VERY annoying--would love to be able to disable it or make it optional... Recaptcha security jammed me up on checkout. It seems my adblocker software thought it was a bad thing--I have never had issues like this on other websites. Customer service (placing an order on the phone and checking stock status) was outstanding, Overall, still quite pleased with my overall experience. In the words of Ah-nold, "I'll be back!"
Jan 3 I have returned. I placed yet another order, with similar results. The Aftership app seem is balky and unresponsive. It appears the parcel is out for delivery, today. We shall see. As a side note, entering the tracking number at the UPS website is useless. I either get a freeze up spinning wheel, or a notice that they are having "technical difficulties."
The only other gripe I have is regards stock availability. Several items I have tried to order showed "in stock" on the web pages, but at checkout, were "not available in the quantity (typically 1) requested." Computers....Sheesh!

I have been looking for model railroad paint for several months in the Santa Fe dark blue that can be brushed on for a few small locomotive parts. I found what I had been looking for and put it in my cart. Since it was only $4.00 and some change. I went ahead and purchased a n scale Microtrain passenger car to complete the order, an item I could have purchased from a hobby shop I normally do business with. When I got my package, the passenger car was sent and no paint. The invoice said out of stock, to refund the money. On the same day I had placed an order with the shop I normally deal with. I could have ordered the passenger car there so this place cost me money for shipping that I did not have to spend since they did not have the paint. I placed the orders at both places at the same time. I had my order in hand from the place I normally deal with before I received any notification, which was the next day, that my order was being shipped with no mention of not having the paint or the order would have been cancelled. This transaction cost me time, money and disappointment. I have never had a place take so long to ship but I guess everyone has their own way of...

I just retired from the U.S. Air Force, and your quality of packaging far exceeds that of many products received while on duty! As a side note, I should remember to contact your company should I ever intend on moving to another city, since your packing methodologies were just that great!
