I normally donāt write reviews but I was disappointed in my experience being that I frequent this location 3-4 times a week. I work at an office behind this location and was told by my coworkers that they were giving free drinks to our employees as they all had one(6-7 employees). I went over to grab a drink and was told that I was able to get a drink only if I had a work badge. Unfortunately my employer doesnāt provide badges to ANY of the employees. I then stated that no one who works there has one and then stated that she recognized them. I said wow Iām a manager there and she then states āoh well I donāt go there!ā. I still paid for my drink with a smile, but ironically Iām the only employee who visits there regularly and I actually told the rest of the employees about their coffee because I enjoy their menu. Iām not one to play THAT game but there was only one difference between me and themā¦Two stars because she was sweet about it I guess lol but I had to share...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really like Scooter's. It will be hard to review it without comparing it to Starbucks, but that will probably be a good way to explain what I think of Scooter's. It's drive-thru only, so the baristas' time isn't divided. They are always friendly and fast. The line isn't as long as it is at Starbucks. The drinks are very consistent, whereas at the other place, it depends on which barista is making it. Scooter's does seem to be slightly more expensive than Starbucks, and they don't have as big a variety. Scooter's seems to make their drinks very sweet (and that's coming from someone who really likes sweet), but it's easy enough to request fewer pumps of syrup. You can customize your milk, number of shots, etc. I'm the type of person who finds a favorite and sticks with it, so the main complaint for me would be that I usually find a favorite in their seasonal flavors and it goes away leaving me to find a new favorite. But that's not necessarily...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've tried Scooters on SR 74 three separate times - and I'm disappointed to say - all three visits bordered on awful. Two of the three trips - I asked for a simple medium cup of dark roast drip coffee, and both time the coffee was tepid at best, add a spot of cream - and both turned out to be flat out cold. The coffee had a dish water-like quality. The dark roast was not flavorful and lacked body. On the third occasion I asked for a large multi-shot hot latte. The drink appears to have come completely out of a machine - lacking the use of good quality espresso beans. It too came out cool/tepid - and seemed like a drink you get out of a fast food machine. Giving up on Scooters - their quality has consistently been bad. A positive - the window personnel were polite and nice. The restaurant - 100% drive through does not lend itself to returning a poor quality product. I would not recommend Scooters for anything - from the hot side of...
