With Prices being what they are, it’s hard to just throw money away and then walk away… I went to DQ last week, placed my order through the drive through, gave the girl my card and then ( my mistake ) ask if the Fries were fresh? The girl leaned into her window and said… Usually Yes. I smiled and ask… what about tonight? She said No. She looked perplexed when I told her that I needed to cancel the order. She said she did and gave me my card back, but she didn’t put my money back on it. It wasn’t that it was a lot of money, but it was mine! I called the Highlander Point location, told them what had happened, the Manager took my info, and said she’d get in touch with someone who would get back with me. No one did. I called their Headquarters, told them what happened… Same thing was said… someone will get back with you! Still Nothing… it’s been a week. It’s rotten when your business is in a very small town, you have restaurants on either side of you and you don’t care enough about your customers that you think it’s ok to steal $10 from a customer! I don’t understand why people today think when people all around us are either suffering or in need of something… places like Dairy Queen want to steal a Patrons lousy $10! Dairy...
Read moreI should not be waiting almost 20 minutes for my food everytime I come to this location. Last time I was here I was told by a employee that if a fill out a survey I could get a free mini blizzard when I go up to tell the guy who I believe works in the kitchen he is older and has a beard he rolled his eyes and went to the younger staff and yelled at them saying that they are wasting product; this was even after the girl said that their gm told them to do this. Today I come through the drive through and get pulled forward( like every other time I come to this location) it was a sweet girl who brought out my food after waiting for 20 minutes they forget my ranch so I go inside to grab some. When I tell the girl she goes to the guy in the kitchen which is the manager and the same guy from the previous incident and he rolls her eyes at her and takes about three minutes to hand her a PACKET of ranch from the line. All of this as her mom was watching waiting to pick her up after work. I will not be returning to this location again if this is how their manager treat their younger...
Read moreI really hate to give 1 star reviews. This is warranted. On 4/19/2022 we went through the drive thru at around 8 pm. Ordered 1 single cheeseburger and 1 double cheeseburger - both with lettuce, mayo, pickle, onion - and 2 orders of onion rings. Cost $19.84. Drove thru, paid, sat out front, non verbal young man brought it out to us. The drive home was 10 minutes.
I unpacked everything and lo and behold we both had ketchup and 3 pieces of lettuce. The buns were stale. I hate ketchup. Really. I couldn't eat my cheeseburger. He ate part of his ... says he spent so much on a stupid burger he was going to eat it. The onion rings were good.
What went wrong? Teens and a manager who really isn't a manager? Teens on their own? Teens with zero concern about the food they prep for others to eat? Or just lousy employees and the poor owner has no choice because no one wants to work?
