I'm leaving a 2 star rating because my device Samsung A52 5G is only 95% completed/fixed. Came in to see if they could fix my phones screen since it had been dropped. They quoted the repair at $170, which seemed high, but I needed to get my screen replaced. Would arrive in a few days. When it arrived, I came & waited 45-1hr to replace the broken screen. I failed to check the device at the store to make sure it was fully operational. I didn't do that until I was home. Tried to use the biometric (finger scanner) to log into my accounts. I first thought it was me (dirty finger print) nope that wasn't the issue. I thought it was the $$ something screen protector they put on, so I took that off. Nope, it still won't work. I then DELETE print on file & went to add a new one & the scanner doesn't/won't accept a new finger because it's not even registering/configured correctly. I called & left a message that I'll be up the next day after work. The tech then tried multiple times to get it to work and even replaced the old scanner with a new. NOTHING Tech calls customer support & I'm hearing them tell him to create an account so he could CONFIGURE it on the spot right there... but no, the tech didn't want to make an account..... So they put the old one back in my phone, not configured. I was told to take it to ANOTHER gadget place to have it configured.. No partial refund or anything, just a sorry can't fix it..
UNACCEPTABLE
If you are going to run a repair business & do other things to tech. Why not have an account with as many support companies as possible to COVER ALL THE BASICS?? So you don't have negative reviews like this in the...
Read moreMy MacBook seemed to need a new battery. It wasn’t charging fully, and the battery would die pretty quickly after unplugging it. I took it into this place and explained what was happening to an employee, not the owner. I told them I’d like them to diagnose the problem(s) and not just take my uninformed word for it. I am not a computer expert. Just simply a user. The employee was decent enough, but the owner needed to be the one to diagnose. So, I left my computer and was told the owner would call me back with an update. About a week later the owner called me and said “So I hear your looking for a batter replacement quote?” And quoted me somewhere around $180 I believe to replace the battery. And I said well, yes, but that was just my guess at the problem. Did you do any diagnostics? He beat around the bush a few times basically only saying that "This is usually what happens when the battery goes bad. But we can change it and see if that fixes it." And I said again, did you diagnose anything? And he said no but it seems like the problem. So, because of the cost and because of lack of understanding and the lack of any kind of professional diagnosis, I finally just took it into the Apple Store. And after about 30 minutes of working with an Apple employee, an update to a couple of systems, my MacBook was working perfectly fine. For free. It just needed some updates. So if you just want to waste time and money for no reason then this place is probably fine. If you just want a half-baked solution with no basis in any kind of diagnostic logic, then this place it probably fine too. Otherwise, go...
Read moreI had my motorola screen replaced. First of all it took 5 days, then I get it back and within 2 days the entire screen just fell out. I've had that happen with a phone before and I glued and taped it back together and it worked. However this screen would not work again. So it was a little cracked and not working. They gave me a "discount" so minute I don't remember what it was. I still paid 100$ . So I bought another phone off amazon so I could just transfer everything and in the mean time use my work phone. I left the twice fixed phone at home so it wouldn't get damaged. This is gonna sound so stupid, but I was checking my email and I guess touched it wrong and it cracked and continues to spider web everyday while getting less and less responsive. It hesitated constantly when I first got it back, they didn't cut me a deal on the 2nd fix,it spontaneously cracked while I was using it, and now it's junk. I was so happy to for once have a spare phone..HA! I'll never go to cracked gadgets again! I got a new phone cheaper than what I spent there. Oh and to top it off,the slide where the sim card goes ,wasn't in the phone when it came back. LOL! They suck ,they don't care and what happened the first time with my phone should not have been just dicounted, the screen came out! Not busted ...came out and I had to pay for it to be fixed. Whatever screw this...
