Recently diagnosed with diabetes I am learning what cuisines are easiest to work with. I figured I would be better off with Mexican food since it is usually not too sugary and I can always avoid what little carbs are in a tortilla. I could have had any of the salads but I've had enough of those lately. I found the Taco Fajita Bowl fit the bill nicely. I chose the steak over the chicken and it was very good. Low on the spice scale it had plenty of meat and not too much lettuce as some taco salads have. It did not have any beans or rice which I should not have had anyway. Came down to gas city to visit wife's family for Christmas, stayed at the best western and decided to check out this place. My mother in law said they had good food, and man she was right. Got the sampler which had wings, cheese sticks, cheese bits, jalapeno bits and everything was good. Our main course for my wife and I was their burgers which were big and had delicious seasoning. Great place to eat, great variety BUT 3 visits in a row , have had issues with their daily specials. Once didn’t give it to me didn’t realize till next day, my bad. 2d time had to explain at register and finally got it, last night, special was buy 1 steak get 2d one half off, specials are listed on tables and daily in FB, when presented at register, girl says they don’t do that anymore , even though listed on tables and daily FB ad .
