Pizza King | Corydon, IN — Restaurant in Indiana

New owners just bought it. Nov 1st I called in a Togo showed up 30 min later, I came in sat for over 30 min while they tried to fix their credit card machines. They don't have a liquor license yet, cause they wanted to rush opening, so I couldn't buy a beer while I waited with the 5$ I brought with me. Never offered me anything to drink since I was stuck waiting on them. They continued taking orders over the phone while I was there not telling the customers about the issue. My choices were to go find an atm pay an ATM fee and then pay for my cold pizza or go home empty handed. Not even offered a discount for the inconveniences or extra ATM fee to pay in cash. If your expecting Lou's standard of customer service your not gonna get it. Their answer to a problem is sorry about your time, there's nothing we can do for you, Go pull out cash and pay the ATM fee out of your pocket. As if a large and a medium pizza wasn't already 50$. Once I brought up what they were doing wrong and how to potentially fix it all I got was a smirk and a sorry have a nice day. The owner clearly is only focused on making money asap. The first time was a very good experience. But today seemed as the all Teen staff wasn't taught customer service. First my pizza comes out and the cheese isn't even melted all the way and i ordered light cheese. Second I wanted the the brick oven crispy crust pizza that i love and when i picked it up the piece flopped like it was a Giant New York pizza kid in charge said he saw the cook take it out too early but asked me to forgive him which i did but if he knew the pizza wasnt up to Pizza King standards why bring it out the kitchen my family 6 pieces of a 14" pizza when asked for a box i told them no, so that alone should have let them know i wasn't happy with the food. But was charged with a slight discount and left with abad taste in my mouth. I live in Tell City and drove over a half hour to eat at this restaurant from now on i will stick to the Georgetown and New Albany...

Called in a pick up order for a 10" pepperoni sausage pizza. Explained to the girl on the phone that I had gotten one Thursday night and it was the best pizza I had ever gotten there. She said that was great and she would make sure it was perfect again. Go to pick the pizza up expecting what I got Thursday. Not even close!!! The pizza today was burnt and had grease practically dripping off it. I took the pizza back and expressed my disappointment. The manager gave several excuses for the pizza being the way it was. I said ok, so how do you wanna handle this? He said there was nothing he could do. There was no offer to remake the pizza, refund my money or anything even close to customer service! Needless to say, I will not be going back to this Pizza King! I am putting a call into Pizza Kings Headquarters as well. Very very disappointing all the way around! ...
