I've came here four times now during lunch. The first time I ordered I got the yasso chicken with rice. It was good but I tried my coworkers jerk chicken and have been hooked ever since. The jerk chicken has the right amount of spice. It's never been over cooked. I got the jollof rice as well. They also give you a cup of onions & peppers in a flavored sauce. The amount of food you get can feed 2 people. I have called to order ahead a few times and the jerk chicken was already sold out. It was during last few hours before they closed which is understandable because they marinate the chicken ahead of time. I was bummed but rather have it marinated right than just thrown on during cooking. I've tried their plantains as well. They cut them up in small pieces but there is plenty to share. I personally think its the best jerk chicken in Indy. Closest comparison are the jerk chicken in Chicago. The workers are super friendly as well. I recommend Medina's to everyone I know. Definitely a must try!!

They are very kind. Particularly the gentleman I’ve dealt with both time, he was patient with me and helpful! He shared he is from Cote D Ivoire. I have gotten the cassava leaf stew which was super delicious and I ordered again. I got another dish last time which I didn’t love as much but not for any fault of the restaurant. I am new to west African food and dipping my toes in. I also got a homemade ginger drink and it was super tasty! I will keep snagging take out when I go to Saraga and continue to sample their menu.

Amazing food! First time trying fufu and peanut butter stew. The lamb in the stew was so tender it was falling off my fork, and the fufu tasted great with it. Also got fried tilapia, which was so so juicy and delicious. The man who brought our food out said that they like to eat this one all the time, and I can see why.

First time visiting at this place. Stepped in and place was really clean. Placed my order and had to wait bout 20 minutes. Wasn't really bad of a wait, to get fresh cooked hot food. Order 2 plates but cashier only put in one. Luckily I didn't have to wait again. Just so happened the owner had an extra ready. The cashier had to be knew bc she was really familiar with the menu. Despite the small hiccups, I will gladly return. Peanut butter stew was excellent 👌 😋 Egusi sensational. Thanks ❤️ Hopefully I'll see...
