Went to their actual website to see the menu. I wrote down the numbers of the items and the prices of what we wanted to order. My husband went in with $25. The order was for small bbq spare ribs, 2 veg egg rolls, quart of fried vegetable rice, small sweet and sour chicken. This totaled about $20 from the menu that is currently on their website. Well the lady took the order and everything was wrong. The item numbers were all wrong from the menu on their website to the menu in the restaurant. All the prices were higher in the restaurant as well. My husband tells her the menu online is wrong then and she said they have nothing to do with it. But yet when I searched China Wok on West 10th St they have an actual website so she lied to him. They do have control over their advertised menu sheet. Okay so the food comes to $27, $2 more than what my husband had. One would think they might be nice and just call it even at $25 since their website is incorrect and they already made the food. So now let's talk about the people that hang out in the parking lot. Their is a man in a wheel chair that is begging for money. And another guy that goes to cars washing windows trying to get money. This area is so horrible to visit anymore. We highly recommend finding another restaurant when you are wanting this type of food. OH and the last thing I almost forgot. When she told my husband it was $27 she showed him the money machine in their restaurant. My husband went to get $20 out of our account and it didn't go through. So he tried again. At that point he gets a text from our credit union saying that machine is banned from any card that is issued from Fedex Credit Union because of fraud. Apparently that machine has had...
Read moreDecided after work to doordash some food from here. I ordered the bbq ribs and beef fried rice. It was oddly fishy, couldnt even eat 3 bites of it without gagging. The meat in the fried rice was a weird texture with a green hue and im pretty sure the meat was old. I spent 20 dollars for just myself on food I wouldnt even pay 5 bucks for. You would think with those prices they would splurge on some good quality ingredients and not cross contaminate considering my BEEF was fishy. I will never go back here again and to the 5 star patrons y'all are too easily impressed and the reason why this establishment thinks it can get away with charging that much for some nasty food. They may have been amazing at one point but I recommend going to King Wok or...
Read moreThe second I walked in, I could tell something was up with this place. I went ahead and walked up to the front counter and asked for the menu. The man up front yelled something into the kitchen but nothing ever happened. I then asked what their favorite thing there was and they said the chicken chow mein. So I ordered that. After about 10 minutes. I got my food and I immediately lost my appetite. The food looked disgusting but I didn't want to judge so soon so I ate some. Although the taste wasn't as bad as the smell, it was still not pleasant. I asked for a to-go box and a receipt and they gave me a dollar off of change. I would recommend your friend to...
