Coco Bongo Mariscos & Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I'm leaving one star because we left upset. The waitress was nice... at first The food was good as usual except.my beans were just barely warm. As a family of 5 not all liking seafood we ordered a fajita/ 2 grilled chicken/ my husband ordered a pound of crab legs with rice and beans as did my oldest son a pound with fries and rice. We also ordered guacamole and 2 orders of bread. She was bringing out our food and says the guacamole wasn't ever made did we still want it to which we declined. My husband ordered some tortillas. She brings out all our food except my sons rice. then extras begin to come to the table. More fries come out all the while a 3rd pound of crab legs sit on the side of the table which we did NOT order. I tried to tell her we already had our fries when she came with a puzzled look with more tortillas that we did NOT order. She nodded and went back. We finish and wait for out ticket to pay which never comes so my husband goes to ask for the check the cashier tries to explain to me basically he doesn't believe we didn't order the crab legs and is requesting we pay for them. Instead of arguing I say fine bag them up we will take them with us and tell my husband we ain't coming back. I didn't get my reciept wich I regret now I was probably charged for the rice 2 orders of fries and guacamole along with the crab legs. It's New Years eve day not it wslas not busy. Our total was $303. and change. Sadly we didn't leave a tip after that which is not like us at all tips are based off service and we were not happy with the service. Do not order fish !!!! Rotten I’m visiting from California and decided to take a break and eat some seafood we ordered the mojarra my fiancé felt that it was a little smelly but he’s not much of a complainer And continue to push through when I started to eat it I it’s not so pungent my ex husband was a fisherman and I know that fish is not supposed to smell like fish so there’s no excuse and I told him it smells absolutely disgusting and rotten. after we asked for the bill, we brought it up to the waitress, not asking for any refund just trying to Save some people from going to the hospital because that’s how horrible the fish mouth I asked the waitress to smell it, and she even agreed that it was pretty bad. Me and my husband come here a lot and usually the service is decent. I took him here to celebrate his birthday and the waitress failed to give us our chips and soup that they normally give everytime we visit. We had like five different waitresses and everytime we asked our waitress about our chips and soup they didn’t bring it. One waitress stated she would bring it when it was ready that they had to make more. A few moments later some people came in and sat in front of us and I see the waitress bringing that table chips and soup. We never got ours. The waitress forgot to give my husband his rice so we had to ask another waitress for it. We constantly were trying to get the attention from waitresses to assist us and as soon as they made eye contact with my husband they put their heads down acting like they didn’t notice him. I spent $100.00 for 2 people and they treated us like they didn’t value our business. To say the least we probably won’t come back again they ruined his experience that was supposed to be a special day for him.
