Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Very rough first time at Church's.

Some details: Time-7:45 PM Wait time for ordering (drive through)-15min Wait time for food- 30min Order-Incorrect

So this was my first time doing Church's Chicken, but I figured that it's a chicken fast food place, so it should be pretty quick and easy. That was not my experience.

We ended up waiting collectively for 45 minutes to get our food because they didn't have enough prepped chicken tenders, which we only needed 10 to fulfil the order. Which isn't a good sign considering they're supposed to be known for them.

Ordering was a hastle in the drive through, it took between 2 and 4 repetitions of each item to be done before they were able to understand/get the order down. According to the receipt they got it correct, but then the food we received wasn't. In fairness the employee was very nice and I don't believe much was their fault.

Luckily the food was hot, and fresh. Though we were expecting at least some sauces and napkins to go along with them. Which were not included in the bag either.

The Church's Chicken that I patronize the most is the one across from Lafayette square Mall in the 3900 block of North Lafayette road the reason why I patronize it the most is because they hardly run out of anything that I want they have spicy chicken they have regular chicken and most of their time their legs and thighs are 10 for $10 which is a great family value I can get 10 pieces of regular and 10 pieces of spicy and only spend $20 and it's a great value the staff is always on the best behavior they always do suggestive sellings for size drinks and any other thing that you think you might want to go with your meal I never spend over $20 or maybe to say I never spent over $30 for a family I can feed anywhere from four to eight people with no problem and still have change in my pocket so I would suggest anyone that's in the area a 39th and Lafayette road to go to Church's fried Chicken across the street from Lafayette square Mall and patronize their business they are the best in the city I hope this does you well God bless you...

Stopped in to pick up lunch today; ordered the shrimp combo and sweet tea. There was 1 car in front of me but it still took way toooo long to get my food. Got my drink, got my food, drove back to my office to enjoy my shrimp, chicken and jalepeno bites only to find that even though it was listed on my receipt, there was not a trace of cocktail sauce or sauce for my chicken! I do not get take out very often so I was looking forward to a treat, but no. So I decided to do a review like it says on the bottom of the receipt. The first thing the site asks is the restaurant number and since my receipt did not include that info, the site said it could not accept my review. So I called the phone number of the location but no one answered. So here's my advice, to the young man working the window at the Churchs on West 10th, next time check to make sure an order is complete before you hand over the sack! And to the manager? Nice trick not putting your location # on the receipt so people...
