Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Indianapolis

This was our first time eating at churches chicken. We just moved down to Indy from Alaska. We walked into the store and there was one person in front of us, We stepped to the counter and was helped right away, The individual that took our order could barely speak or understand English. We placed a simple order of just two chicken sandwiches (one spicy- one regular) and a large mashed potatoes. He confirmed our order with us and even called to the back what sandwiches were needed. After waiting in the lobby for a good 15 minutes our order was ready, We received our order and looked to see that it was actually 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and a small mashed potatoes. We got the attention of a younger white female early 20's and explained kindly we had ordered one regular and one spicy and that the mashed potatoes were the wrong size. She looked at us as if she didn't understand a thing we were saying and after a brief pause and a look of disgust on her face called called to the back saying the order was wrong with some bit of aggression. The cook in the back replied back with the same attitude saying (I know what I heard) Talking about the initial call for sandwiches. After making the right sandwich the cook in the back practically storms to the front and pulls one of the wrong sandwiches out of the bag and puts the right one in. At this point we feel very unwelcome and decide we will just go and forget the large mashed potatoes. The service was extremely poor quality and the food was of poor...

Today I rewrite my review for this place. I come here on the regular for food (mainly jalapeño bombers). Today I came in just for a order of bombers. The price has gone very high on them (But I still buy them on the regular). With that being said if I pay almost a dollar a piece for something that is only 2 bites ($10.98 for 12). Then they should be fresh!!! Nowadays they make them and throw them under a heat lamp. So today I bought some mushy not fresh bombers. That's my food complaint. Now for the service part of my review. My service was fast,as I didn't order nothing but bombers and they were not made fresh 🤬. But a lady in front of me had an issue. Which she was acting a fool over, and the employees were just as foolish. They handled the problem very poorly. The manager who wouldn't give his name to the lady. Only escalated the situation with his behavior. So today this place goes from 5 stars to just 1. If Donna was there (the best manager I've met at any churches). This problem would have been handled better. Plus she drops my bombers fresh everytime! Yes I named dropped I've been a regular at this location the last 20 years. Unlike the woman who had the problem and swore she knew...

Its an ok place. They don't use gloves when making or preparing food. Service is slow depending on what day. Today is friday sept 23rd which was a good paste. The lady forgot my extra chicken and biscuit i would understand her position if it was an over flow but hardly in customers where coming in. Theres no reason y she should forget. Not to mention she took my bag back and put the forth chicken in there when she realize it was missing. No i didnt say anything but when i was getting ready to pull off i saw her runing with a little bag she gave it to me again she forgot my extra biscuit. Never have i been chased down at any restraunt. Nothing to really brag about tho or to complain. I don't believe they should get five stars. It was friendly clean and fast depending on days. 2 stars is good enough. Only because i dont like to be ingored. Three employyes ingored me one gave another employee hundreds of dollars inside a recipte whispering then said she had to go to the back. Seems dirty to me. But who knows i just dont like to be ingored for anything specially when it comes to...
