After years of ordering from this location, I will no longer give this Domino's my business. Online they give you the option of picking up your order through the drive-thru or coming into the lobby. I always choose the lobby, and when I arrived their door was locked. I waited for one of the five employees who saw me to open the door but I was ignored. It was very cold outside and after a couple of minutes, I believe the manager, angrily gestured towards their drive-thru.
So, I comply and walk to the side of their building only to see three other people, not in their vehicles, outside in the cold, waiting to be handed their pizzas from the drive-thru. One of these three people looked to be eighty years old. I don't work in hospitality but I think using a sign to communicate that your lobby is closed at a certain hour and to kindly ask your guests to use the drive-thru would avoid the problem I witnessed.
While I waited near the drive-thru window, an employee very rudely asked for my name. After I gave it, I asked to see one specific pizza to insure that it was correctly made because of allergies. I was handed the other four pizzas in my order. A kind stranger held my other pizzas so I could properly check the one I needed to. It was not made correctly. The employee argued saying that's what I ordered. By this point, I've had enough, if I made a mistake, that's fine. If you made one, that's fine too! I was not interested in arguing, I just wanted my pizza and gently asked if it could be made properly. The employee yelled at me, "I will remake your pizza, it will be ten minutes, but you can't come to the store banging on the front door, slamming the windows and stomping on the drive-thru through bell!" The employee walked away and window shut. About a minute later another employee came to the window. He was kind and told me that he'd bring me my pizza out the front door that was locked. I simply thanked him, asked what the other employees name was and decided to leave with what I had.
I'd like to think that I'm a very patient and understanding person. And I do believe that this specific Domino's employee had had a very difficult night. However, like I said, I do not work in hospitality but if I did I would never treat my guests as such. I do have that specific employees name, I will not disclose it to the public to protect their identity but I am considering reporting them to corporate.

At 11:50 the tracker said my order has been taken out of the oven and that it was being checked, i thought that was really fast considering there was a 50-60 minute delivery time but I wasnât complaining just thought it meant Iâd get my food faster. I was wrong. The lady we talked to (Tara) had called around 12 AM letting me know that they were running behind and asked me if we still wanted it or if we wanted a credit back instead of waiting for the food but at this point everything else around us had started closing so I didnât have a choice but to wait for my pizza, she let me know Iâd have my pizza BEFORE 1 AM I wasnât too thrilled but I had a child with me and because other places around us were closing we didnât have much a choice but to wait for the pizza. The pizza did finally arrive around 1:05 AM, but unfortunately it was incorrect. We had ordered just a regular 12â sausage pizza, Parmesan bread twists with 2 garlic sauce cups and 2 marinara cups and a cookie brownie. I wouldnât be complaining if my pizza wasnât incorrect and if Iâd gotten all the sauces that we had paid extra for. My grandma is allergic to pineapples and we had them on the pizza, she dug in before me and didnât notice until she had started to have an allergic reaction. She used her epi-pen so thankfully she is okay. She instead was just going to eat the Parmesan bread twists but we had no sauce for them. We didnât call the store back that night because we figured they had the phones off and were closed for the night since it was after their closing time. We waited until today to call the store and try and work something out, but Tara refused to actually listen to either of us and hung up on us not once, but twice. She told us there was no way for us to get a refund and to call the store nearest to us and tell them she told us to call and what had happened and that âmaybe theyâll give us a creditâ. As a customer service associate myself I found her behavior very disrespectful, youâre supposed to let the customer explain/complain whatever they have to do before you try and speak otherwise you donât get the whole story and you just make the situation worse. I ordered from this store via the app to have my dinner delivered. I was given an estimated delivery wait time of 23-33 minutes. It's a Friday, I figured it would be a bit longer than they estimated. No big deal. I waited and waited. I waited some more. After over two hours of no news and no food. I eventually called the store to get a refund, but wouldn't you know? I sat on hold for over 30 minutes, never once reaching a person to speak with.
After 10 p.m., I gave up and went to bed. I woke up to my doorbell camera notifying me that my order had eventually arrived, 4. HOURS. LATE. But, I had selected contactless delivery and figured the driver would just leave it on my porch as instructed. At least I had the food, right? Nope. He took it with him! Hope he enjoyed his free dinner.
Even when I tried to tell Dominos about the insane ordeal, all I was offered was points for a free medium pizza or 25% off my next order. Yeah, like those are fitting compensations for this. I will be getting my money back and I will NOT be going through this again. I know others will suffer as I did because who reads reviews on a chain they should be able to trust?
