Ordered online yesterday. Received the confirmation email and headed to the store. When I arrived at 6:01 I was informed that they were closed. After telling the lady at the speaker that I had already ordered online, she said that they were only doing door dash orders. I said ok and asked for a refund. The lady informed me that she didnât handle online orders and didnât know how to refund and would need to call her manager. I said thatâs cool since you were closed you had time to call her and I would just wait at the speaker. Story changed and now I needed to go online to get my refund. There is no option to get a refund from the email or from the website. After telling her that wasnât going to work, she told me âIâm sorry youâre having a bad day but there is nothing I can do. YOU have to call tomorrow and get a refund.â I called corporate number and left a complaint. I had my friend call the store and try to place an order. She was told that they closed because they didnât have staff and didnât know how to turn off online ordering and that was a corporate problem not hers. Still havenât received a call or a refund and went to Papa Johns instead. They were happy to take money and provide me with goods and services, the natural exchange at a restaurant. They were only taking cash, no credit. Thankfully, I had cash, because the drive traps you on either side once at the order board. No real customer service, as by the time I got to the window, the oder taker had forgotten what I ordered, so I repeated it to her. Again, another long wait to get my food. It was actually correct, but not the greatest quality. My shrimp were dry, and the fries had soooooo much salt on them I had to wipe them off to eat. I felt like my B.P. went up each fry I ate. I arrived 20 minutes laterâplenty of time for them to have it readyâand not only had they not started my order, but all three workers on duty argued me down about it.
Instead of apologizing or taking accountability, they doubled down and made me feel completely disrespected. No empathy, no urgency, no professionalism. Just attitude and excuses.
