Mr A Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Indianapolis

A small locally owned handcrafted pizza parlor that has taken a special place in my heart and in Indianapolis. They offer such a wide menu, but it is not overwhelming and is also infinitely healthier than most other places as they do not fry any of their product products. Everything goes through an oven bake from their pizza to their wings to their breadsticks to their onion rings. Everything gets full flavor and they use very premium ingredients.

My favorite is the fusion pizza. I have not been disappointed yet. I found out on my last visit that unlike some other places, they actually make their tickets sauce in house as they are the most scratch oriented pizza shop. I have been to in a long time.

Attached is a mango habanero Paneer pizza from my lunch today. Pure flavor so sweet so tangy so spicy and the cheese is slightly crispy with as mentioned super fresh ingredients.

In the past I have had their halal pepperoni and it is indeed premium. They use the pepperoni cups that curl up when baked unlike the cheaper wider pepperoni. These are a testament to their commitment to full flavor.

There were seven of us who were gathering for a friend‘s birthday, and we decided we would try this place. They have one big table in the center that could accommodate us, plus a few booths along the wall. This restaurant was extremely clean, it is a mom and pop business. They serve wine and beer. You go to the counter to order your food, and you can grab a beer out of the cooler. We shared the sausage and mushroom pizza, extra large, the meat lovers pizza, also extra large, and we tried one of their Asian pizzas as well. For me, the Asian pizza was way too spicy, but the others were downright delicious! I loved it that the crust wasn’t soft and doughy. The pizza was cooked on the bottom. All of the ingredients were super fresh, and everyone loved these pizzas! One of the owners brought out their large, freshly baked cookie with a chocolate drizzle on the top, free of charge for the birthday girl. Oh my, it was fabulous! We will definitely go back. Omg! This pizza is one of the BEST I’ve ever had ! We are in town for two days and was in the mood for pizza ! So happy we were! Got a double cheese pizza and it so cheesy and perfect ! Sauce is perfect and the perfect amount ! I had trouble with my WiFi at the hotel while ordering and it looked like it got placed twice after so I called and they were so nice on the phone ! And knew I didn’t mean to order two exact orders , already had it all figured out and was about to send out for delivery . I would recommend Mr A pizza to everyone who loves a good pizza !
