Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was pretty clean minus the gunk on the bathroom mirror. I came back to my room late after working an 13 hr day to find that I had zero hot water. No warm water, nothing. It was ice cold. I called the desk in all fairness to them it was just past 1am at the time and they said that no one else had complained and that they would call maintenance in the morning. With the time of day I found this to be understandable and brushed my teeth and went to bed. I woke up and reach out to the front desk to ask if there was a solution to the hot water. Maintenance was called, but they weren’t sure if it was fixed. Again fine. About 1.5 hours later a knock on the door. It’s maintenance! He comes in and puts a thermometer under the sink and shows me the water getting up to 80 degrees. He tells me it will be hot in two hours. I asked what happened and he said it was a bad thermostat on one of the hot water tanks. Two hours later I turn the water on and it’s roughly the same temperature so I go to work. When I get back to the hotel at 9pm, longing for a shower after two straight days of hard work and the water is ice cold again. I call the front desk and Zach lets me know that it must just be my room. He has a note about 225. He doesn’t want to banter back and forth with me, BUT he could POTENTIALLY put me in 214 where it is closer to the hot water tanks. Not “I’m so sorry you haven’t had hot water for two days. Let me fix that for you!” NOPE! Zach doesn’t want to banter back and forth. Nor does he want to admit that something could possibly be wrong in a room of a hotel that’s getting renovated. Why would anything be wrong? Poor customer service. I never write reviews but I honestly have never had such a bad experience when traveling in my entire life. It’s acceptable that the water is cold, but own it and try to offer a solution. I went to bed and before 8am on a Sunday morning maintenance bang twice and tried to come in right away. Glad I had the chain on. I’ll never be back and I recommend...
Read moreIt’s not a bad place and it’s not the greatest, but it was comfortable. The lobby was small without any air conditioning. I feel bad for the staff working in a hot space. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The room we stayed at was clean, no molds like some said, or any dead animals odors. But, there was yellow stains on our bed cover sheet. I wished they have a microwave inside the room, better pillows, and a working fan inside the bathroom. The plus side is it’s close to every restaurant and shopping places. Can’t beat that kind of...
Read moreMy first impression here was that this would be a 4/5 review-worthy hotel. Yes, there is a remodel going on, but the room was in good shape and clean, and the breakfast was okay. But the shower had NO pressure, so that's a star off right there. And I was staying here for a 2 part training close by. I had booked both weeks at this hotel since the price was right and the location was only a few minutes away. Well, the day after my first stay they canceled my second booking, no explanation given. Well, that's...
