Today we gathered to celebrate our daughter’s sweet sixteen birthday. What began with much excitement entering the doors of Royal Pin turned into a decision never to return. We arrived at the check in station where there was no greeting or mention that someone would be right with us. Advised of our lanes (40-42), we proceeded to the area where there was an overflowing trash can, trash spilled on the floor, two open chip bags near the seats, a previous party’s left over cupcakes which no one thought to clean in preparation for the next party. Searching for staff, a man did dispose of the items on the floor by request only. Preparing for twelve children, five pizzas ordered, we asked Monique who swapped out Shanna for some reason if our party would be provided a table. We were informed the “ Teen” party did not come with a table. Mind you, all parties to our left and right had tables, but us. Monique said she’d try to find us a table and never returned. During the party we were never checked on and only saw Monique when delivering pizza and issuing the bill. The bill that displayed a b-day pin, balloon bouquet and a teen birthday party package which we received none of the itemized list. No one stayed to review the bill with us which I politely proceeded to the guest station with questions. Inquiring the items charged and not received to Monique, Aubaine, and a short woman with glasses, customer service lacking from all, I received excuse after excuse. May I ask about the balloon bouquet, OH IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE TEEN PACKAGE. May I ask about a host, OH THE TEEN PARTY DOES NOT COME WITH ONE. May I ask about the b-day pin, OH WE FORGOT. The party ten minutes from ending, guests exiting, staff retrieved a pin which attendees could not sign due to staffing delay. Booking an online package with items that weren’t available, I inquired what it was we actually paid for. We received horrible excuses and an attempt to make it seem we received a deal, OH THE ADMIN OF OUR WEBSITE IS FROM SWEDEN, an attempt to address misinformation on the package displayed online. OH YOU GET AN EXTRA SLICE OF PIZZA, when asked the purpose of a teen party. The customer service from Aubaine was the worst, start to finish. She had a public display that she did not want to be present or deal with the general public. Monique made it clear when delivering our bill and exiting that we could pay when ready, but she wouldn’t be present because she was going home. Shanna, Aubaine, Monique and the short female with glasses provided a less than satisfactory experience our family will not forget. Never have I seen such poor excuses for failing to deliver customer service, false advertisement, and not once checking on our party which the excuse was, THE TEEN PARTY DOES NOT COME WITH A HOST. Whether that is the case, managers still check on guests to ensure a satisfactory experience especially a party. Although we received a 10% discount, there was not a single apology and/or any form of ownership, only excuses. The fact that we had to ask someone to clean up for a scheduled party, remind staff of items promised in a package, listed on a receipt that were not provided, go without a food table for our children to eat, and retrieve all utensils and additional party items truly impacted our daughter’s party. I do not know what was going on behind the scenes, but Monique, Aubaine, Shanna and the short woman with glasses were all managers who did NOTHING to address such a terrible experience. I voiced my concerns on site and I hope anyone viewing my review that will also go on google, never has to experience the same birthday disaster we did. The only reason we stayed and continued the party celebration was because of Nathaniel. That young man was pleasant, courteous and worked hard with a smile the entire time. He deserves true recognition. The management staff needs serious training on customer service and the website needs review for accuracy. As of right now, your website displays false...
Read moreI recently had my child's birthday party on December 23rd and the process was a great experience from the beginning. The young man I would give him alone 5 stars who was checking and confirming my reservations but the party host. OMG, she should not have been a host and honestly believe this is not the job for her. I had to keep searching for her (I was the only party at that time) to get different shoe sizes. She disappeared during the entire event and only came over 3 times. That was to finally give us some shoes which on several occasions i had to go to the front to get the shoes myself. She came and brought us pizza and didn't even mention to me when it was coming as we were in the middle of bowling as we only get 60 mins of play time and if we would have stop to eat the pizza then we would not been able to have the full amount of playing time. When it was 30 mins left of the party, I had to ask the manager where our party host was at bc I was not sure about how we go about for the Laser Tag that was included in the package. Family members and I did express some concerns to the manager who I believe was not very sure, but it was kind of push to the side, and he did some of the work. Lastly, I kept asking about the game cards that were included in the party package and we literally got them while we were packing up to leave and most of the party guest had already left. I was just disappointed in the party host as they are supposed to be upbeat, lively, making sure the guests are having a great time, but I promise, she was tucked away in the office the entire time besides the 3 times she came out to us. I want to book my daughter's birthday this month, but I seriously do not want her as my party host bc that was just the worst experience from a party host I have received. I tried to be friendly and respectful to her but the same was not given to me. I wish the young gentlemen who kept checking up on me during my reservation portion, would have been the party host bc he was excellent and that was just the impression from...
Read morePoints go for customer service: the guy from the staff responsible for our daughter’s birthday party was too young and inexperienced. He could not remember anything what needs to be done and he was too slow. we were waiting for 45 min for the lanes to be switched on. kid’s size bowling bowls were not prepared. There were no bowls next to our 4 lanes. The staff was not helping with the bowls. The parents had to find kids’ bowls themselves, so the kids can finally start the game. -we have ordered kids’ drinks in the beginning of the party and we were begging to bring them again and again. Received our drinks one hour and a half later!!!! When the party was almost over!!!! You cannot do that to the kids! Some of the kids were crying because they were so thirsty! This is totally unacceptable! I could have prepared bottles of water for the kids myself but was told that I’m not allowed to bring drinks from outside. Despite this, kids didn’t receive their drinks till the end of the party! I had to stand with my husband by the till asking for the drinks and bringing them ourselves because they were still not ready! -received pizza too late. We have ordered pizza for the kids and for the parents at the same time. Were waiting for kids’ pizza forever, and even longer for the parent’s one. The pizza supposed to arrive in the middle of the party, not in the end. was asking the staff to bring our cards to play the games again and again. Received them right in the end of the party when some of the kids were...
