On January 18, 2025, I ordered two large stuffed crust cheese pizzas from this Papa John’s. While the pizzas were made well initially, the next day, when I went to eat a leftover slice, I bit into the crust only to find hair baked into it! Disgusted and appalled, I immediately called the store to report the issue, only to be met with an incredibly rude and dismissive manager. Her response? “Well, what do you want me to do about it?” She even had the nerve to tell me that employees don’t have to wear hair nets.
I brought the contaminated pizza to the store to prove I wasn’t lying, and when I arrived, I saw her preparing pizzas with her hair hanging loosely over her shoulder. This was beyond unprofessional and completely unsanitary. Even then, she maintained her careless, “I don’t care” attitude and, things escalated when she actually began cursing at me!
I demanded a refund, which I still don’t know if she processed, and asked for the corporate number. She refused to provide it until I became visibly upset.
This experience has been absolutely unacceptable. Not only was the food I paid for contaminated, but the manager’s attitude and behavior were appalling. This needs to be addressed immediately at both the store and corporate level, as this is a clear failure in both food safety and customer...
Read moreFriday, May 8th, 2020 I ordered a large BBQ chicken pizza with cheese sticks for my son and I. When It arrived, the pizza was a mess! This is not the first time this has happened at this location. So I took my concerns to corporate. I made a complaint and then on May 11th, 2020 I received a call from Destiny. I assume she is the GM of this location. She assured me that she had issued a refund and that I would receive it in my account in 7-10 business days. It never hit my account. On May 27th, 2020 I called the location to speak with her and she was not in. So I called back the next day and she still was not present at the location. I spoke with someone else and they gave me the number to corporate. Which I already had. So I gave corporate another call on May 28th, 2020 and spoke to one of their representatives. She told me that upper management would reach out to me the next day on May 29th, 2020. It has been 3 days and no call from anyone! It is no surprise that products like this leave their establishments. Especially now that I have experienced their LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Before I became disabled I worked with the public (including food service) for over 20 years. I know how hard it can be to deal with angry, upset customers. I had the worst experience tonight with this store. I was made to feel like they were not taking any responsibility for the situation. I talked to someone at PJ headquarters and they sent my dispute to them and told me I would hear from someone within 24-48 hrs. An hour and a half later I got a call from Caleb who made me feel like I was important enough to hear my complaint and take action to fix the situation. He was polite and really knew how to correct the mistake. He was the only one who didn't try to put the blame on someone else instead of trying to fix the situation.
