Thank goodness the chicken was fresh and ready when I arrived because it seldom is, but like my momma used to say, "too little too late". I have waited as long as 20 minutes for chicken on numerous occasions at this particular Popeye's Chicken. When I complained to the manager about how long a wait I experienced in what I thought was a "fast food" establishment. He casually responded, there nothing fast about chicken it has to cook.....whatever. Popeye's is not a cook to order business. At any rate, in addition to never having chicken ready, they never have corn. Mostly on Tuesdays. I ordered my lunch today at 12:05 pm and requested corn. They were out? I asked, "how". The cashier indicated to me, "we are either out of corn or we forgot to make it today". They were only open for two hours - how do they run out of corn in two hours and why does this happen on a regular basis. Last but not least, the service is in a word insufferable. Everyone always have an attitude. I asked the drive thru cashier on a previous visit what was wrong and she said she just didn't want to be there. Well Suga Pie, I certainly suggest you don't be there. If you ask me they need a whole new crew and management too. Popeye's 38th and Keystone? I simply cannot do it again. That was my last visit to this particular location. And that is what's eating me for today -...
Read moreMy family came from out of town and went to this Popeyes since it was close to my home. When I tell you I was embarrassed by the way they treated my family with their rudeness.
I was not the one even ordering but the way this idiot treated my aunt and uncle I can’t even call her a woman. My aunt has partial hearing loss and the lady at the intercom said she sounded like she was yelling while she was giving her order. No one is yelling at you in a demeaning way so just take the order. The way she said it though we got the impression she thought my aunt was too loud for her liking. Then when my aunt asked if there was any specials she said you can look on the board. What??? I’m sorry do you work here or do I?
The last thing is when my mother asked to put in a separate order. The lady said only one order per car. Mind you there was absolutely no one else in line. We’re the only car. Now I know why. We was coming back from church feeling blessed but have to be met with so much attitude and unprofessional behavior. This location should be closed down. I don’t even care that I will have to drive farther. No way people should treat people like this EVER!!! We ended up not ordering at all and leaving We had went to Kings Ribs who had double the line and was so nice. Go where you’re celebrated...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to try this location for dinner last night. We had never been there before and arrived in the drive thru lane just before 7:00 pm with one vehicle in front of us. We spent $36 on chicken, biscuits, two large sides, two apple pies, and two drinks. We also spent nearly an hour there waiting for our food. There were four young people working; two girls working the drive thru counter and two guys cooking and making the orders. There did not appear to be an adult manager on duty, although the door was locked, and we could see through the windows that no customers were inside at 7:00 pm. It was the absolute worst service we’ve ever received from any restaurant in our entire lives. By the time we finally got home after 8:00, our $36 meal was cold and greasy. We paid for two large sides. Two small ones were in the bag. The biscuits appeared to be unbaked. I ordered a diet soda. I received a warm regular soda with zero ice. My husband’s premium frozen strawberry lemonade was melted. I asked for honey for our biscuits. One package was in the bag for six biscuits. My husband had to go to the drive up window three times in 30 min to inquire about the status of our pies. We never received a “thank you” and definitely no apology. We will...
