Shake Shack Indianapolis Airport — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I show up at 8:00pm after my flight got delayed. Didn’t know they closed at 9(wasn’t planning on eating at the airport) but I still think that’s reasonable time for a fast food restaurant to make something? Anyway, I show up to the counter and the cashier, who is having a very nice conversation with another employee wouldn’t even acknowledge my presence.

After an awkwardly long time, another employee comes out of the kitchen and says “we’ll be out with the orders soon bro” I answer: “I’m actually trying to order something, I just got here”. He looks at me like an extraterrestrial being and says: “what? We are not taking any more orders dude” he laughs about it and walks back to the kitchen and 2 of the kitchen staff members that I can see from the counter also laugh like it’s fun that somebody wants to order food at a restaurant??

I’ve worked at fast food restaurants and don’t think that showing up 1 hour before closing to order a simple burger at a fast food restaurant is unreasonable In any of the places I worked in my day? I might be wrong...

I was unfortunately a witness to the rudest, most unprofessional display of what was supposed to be customer service. The employee was calling out names for customers to get her order, she approached the counter and mumbled, "y'all better start listening out for your names!" When a gentleman walked up to the counter and gave his name, she replied, very rudely I might add, " that's not the way you spell David!" I mean, she couldn't have just at a minimum just hand him his food. I knew an apology was out of the question, but seriously, she wants to try and argue with the man about the way to pronounce HIS name??? This place is definitely on my "never coming back and tell my friends not to go to" list! I would have asked for a manager but the freedom at which most of the employees engaged in loud laughter and cussing, I didn't think it would have made...

If you’d like to experience bad attitudes, long wait times and ridiculous shortages of ingredients, this is the restaurant for you. I’ve been here probably 4 times and each time I think it can’t possibly get worse and they’ve surely got their act together by now, but I’m proven wrong ever since time. I don’t think this place has ever had ketchup, like ever in 2 years. I can’t even comprehend how that is possible. It’s not just ketchup packets, they don’t even put it on the sandwiches where it’s listed as an ingredient. Did they experience a batch of exploding ketchup packets and security has banned their shipments forever now? One will never know I suppose. Anyway, I’d recommend walking over to Bubs in the A terminal, I’m quite certain that you be able to get over there and eat your food before this place would be able to even...
